*Free 30 minute in-person or telehealth consultation* My belief in the inherent value within us all supports clients as they develop an internal sense of belonging. As a therapist, I bring authenticity and compassion to our sessions, encouraging folks to discover and embrace their true selves. I approach therapy using trauma-informed and culturally mindful practices, blending Person Centered, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness in my work. I also offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy to those who are good candidates. I primarily work with folks navigating their relationship with others and themself, life changes/transitions, healing from past emotional wounds, managing anxious/depressed thoughts, and family-related issues. It's my hope that through our collaborative work, you will live a more authentic life, free of burdens from old wounds, with a greater capacity for compassion and connection.

A need to always look put-together and strong can be destructive and exhausting. It seems like the harder you try, the harder it gets. The pressure to appear “all good” invalidates the emotions we all experience as human beings. Living in a culture of toxic positivity only reinforces the idea that negative thoughts and feelings are somehow inherently unhealthy. In therapy, outdated notions are challenged and you will not be invalidated for feeling…anything. Many of my clients have internalized beliefs about who they should and shouldn’t be- and most of these beliefs are false. Therapy is a non-judgmental space where you can truly express yourself without fear of being judged or shamed. Many of the clients I work with identify with being anxious, perfectionists who want better relationships. I also work with adults who know or think they may be on the autism spectrum. Overall, therapy can be great tool to get a better grip on life as well as for treating a specific diagnosis.. Whatever your background, your struggles, your ambitions, we will work together. Feeling better is within reach.
Our whole practice is specialized entirely in evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders and OCD. We offer online therapy via secure videochat for clients who need it.

I utilize evidenced based interventions from both acceptance and commitment therapy and trauma-informed care principles in my practice. I graduated in 2017 from the University of Denver with my Masters in Social Work and have been providing both inpatient and outpatient treatment since that time. My education and both, personal and professional experiences have allowed me to develop skills to work with diverse, often marginalized populations, such as members of the LGBTQIA+ population or those where English is not their first language. My specialities for work center around severe mental illnesses, such as: schizophrenia and other thought disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. Typically clients I work with have the above noted challenges, but have also experienced other stressors in their relationships, employment, and/or with addiction(s) of some kind.

You want better relationships with your partner, your family, and most importantly, with yourself. Although you've found success in many areas of life, you're struggling to adjust to a recent life change like a move to a new place, the birth of a child, or the start or end of an important relationship. I work with adults and couples who are motivated to know themselves in a deeper and more compassionate way, and are ready to experience real success during their time in therapy. I identify as a Togolese immigrant, daughter, sister, fur-mom, and wife in an interracial marriage. These identities influence how I show up as a therapist and constantly evolve each day. The challenges I have faced have given me both the insight and desire to work with individuals, couples, and families through their hurdles and to help them find what is and isn’t their story. I believe in the idea of assisting individuals, couples & families of different backgrounds to find their path instead of feeling stuck and tied down to societal expectations or their past maladaptive patterns. Due to the unique makeup of our world, I use an integrative approach with my clients; this allows me to use modalities that best suit the need of my clients. I value providing warmth, kindness, empathy, and directness when needed. I hope this little bio reflects my passion for working with humans of all different backgrounds and the depth of sacredness I hold for being a part of your stories.

Are you a young adult struggling with depression or anxiety? Are you finding it hard to adapt to the academic demands and new social situations of college, and finding yourself feeling lonely, isolated, or overwhelmed? If so, I think I can help you chart a course that will help you feel better, less alone, and more connected. Adapting to life at college and planning for adulthood pose many challenges and leave some young adults feeling adrift and confused. There are many new situations to navigate whether they be how to make friends, how to balance academics with extracurriculars, or how to date and find connection. I have worked with college students and young adults for over 10 years to help them find their path, understand themselves, and deal effectively with their emotional struggles. Together, we will seek to understand what it is that troubles you and develop ways to productively deal with these difficulties. Therapy is, at its core, a relationship built on trust that focuses on helping you gain a better understanding of yourself so that you can better navigate your feelings, challenge your fears, and live a full life. I hope that we can work together to help you find your way.
Being in college is not like any other time in your life. Some parts of it can be just great and others very challenging and even completely overwhelming at times. It is not at all uncommon for college students to feel anxious, depressed, uncertain about themselves and the future, or to find themselves very challenged by academics, personal identity, thinking of the future, and dealing with complicated relationships of all kinds. I get it! I worked in two university counseling centers before going into private practice and developed a lot of respect for the challenges facing college students. You guys are one of my favorite groups of people to work with, too, because you are in this unique position of usually being fairly newly out of your family home, able to make more choices on your own, and have your whole lives ahead of you to shape the way you want them to be--scary though that is. I'm happy to help you if I can.
