As a passionate Licensed Professional Counselor, my years of experience and training allow me to understand the best ways to address each client’s needs in an effective manner. Whether it is skill building or insight oriented, I am flexible in my approach and use collaboration as the basis of my therapy—ensuring a comfortable, safe environment where we can work together on your goals. No two people are the same. That’s why the approach that I take in my services is highly-personalized and refined to fit the exact needs of my clients. I will help you recognize your underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and help you adjust to a new, healthier lifestyle using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based CBT, Existential Therapy (Logotherapy), Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Schema Therapy, and/or Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
We are starving to discover the truth, to show the world who we really are, and we need to have our truth held with compassion. We all want to experience being fully seen. We want to feel connected to others. Sadly, many of us don’t often experience being seen in a non-judgmental light. My strength as a therapist is in my capacity to recognize your preciousness and your capacity for wholeness, while helping you to align with your truth. I work with individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, and groups to heal past wounds and evolve out of patterns of self-sabotage. Throughout our work I will support you in cultivating self-compassion, resilience and empowerment. I focus on the impact of trauma, and a variety of disorders including anxiety, depression, insomnia, personality disorders, eating disorders and chronic pain issues. Within a trusting therapeutic relationship, my clients and I co-create a foundation which allows clients to hone into their intuition, improve their relationships, decrease emotional suffering, and increase their overall joy. I use a mindfulness-body-centered approach, integrating many modalities, cultural responsiveness and evidenced-based research.

My focus as an integrative psychotherapist is on holistic well-being rather than illness. We are generally born in a state of inner harmony, wholeness and health, and as we experience life’s ups and downs, our emotional state can become unbalanced. While validating challenges and offering guidance, my primary goal is to support clients in rediscovering their own inner resources to successfully move forward in a meaningful way. My approach includes an emphasis on creative potential; finding purpose and joy; growth and change; trust and respect. With empathy, warmth and practical tools, I support clients as they increase their understanding and confidence to make progress dealing with depression and isolation, anxiety and stress, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, communication challenges, boundary issues, self-esteem, life transitions, and family conflicts. I enjoy working with diverse populations of all ages and backgrounds as they gain wisdom and insight into their own lives and move toward personal empowerment and resilience. I’m particularly interested in parenting, healthy communications, life adjustments, self-awareness, and supporting caregivers whose loved ones have dementia. As a registered art therapist, I am also trained to provide a creative way for clients to express what may be hard to talk about, especially during times of crisis or difficulty. Art is universal and promotes playfulness, self-expression, and imagination. Art therapy can be a helpful addition to traditional talk therapy. It’s important that my clients feel comfortable and safe in the therapy room: seen, heard, validated, and understood. I look forward to joining you on your unique journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

It's been an endless search for a therapist who really gets you. Someone who can dive into your problems without making you feel you have to compartmentalize important parts of your life. Someone who can be a safe sounding board whatever comes up. I want you to know it's ok to show up however you're feeling that day. It's ok to open up at your own pace. I will be right here beside you as you discover unique pathways towards resilience, fulfillment and fun. I center the needs of non-binary & other LGBTQ people in my practice. I help people navigate: stress management and resilience; emotional impact of chronic illness; family of origin issues; and enhancing fulfillment in all sorts of relationships through increased self-knowledge, communication, and collaboration. I believe therapy is most effective when it is a dynamic, collaborative process that integrates the wisdom of our body, mind and spiritual self. I use various approaches including Brainspotting, Heartmath, and mindfulness-based somatic therapy, that allow us to access the deep healing potential of brain, body and mind. Hello! My name is Brandon and I have been in social services/mental health for about 9 years now. I have had a lot of success with young adult clients and adult clients looking to empower themselves but are maybe held back by ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relational issues, people pleasing, addiction, religious trauma - and much more! If I were to sum up my job to a few words, it is to empower you to live the life that you want! The relationship that we build together is super important to me as well, and I am good at building rapport with clients instead of being a "therapy robot". So, how can I help? I have built a reputation of being a straightforward and honest therapist, meaning I will challenge you, point out certain contradictions in thought patterns, push you to be more aware and mindful of problematic behaviors, validate your emotional experience, and explore your past to find reasons of certain behaviors you now struggle with. I'm a big music nerd who loves concerts and I play a couple of instruments. I really enjoy nerdy things like fantasy/sci-fi movies, shows, books, video games etc. I am also quite active and like to ski, mountain bike, enjoy the outdoors, and I like most sports overall. I'd love to invite you to call or email me if you think we'd be a good fit!

My goal is to create a safe relationship where you can process all the pieces of your experience. We’ll look together at how your cultural identities and family context have shaped how you experience the world, and how your past impacts your present. We’ll approach your relational patterns with a sense of curiosity and compassion. We'll explore, “How did I get here, what does it mean to be here, and where do I want to go?". Whatever is bringing you to therapy, I hope to provide a space where you can face your difficulties in order to restore connection, both to yourself and to the most important people in your life. My approach is warm and direct, and I'm informed by training in attachment, trauma, grief & loss, perinatal mental health, infertility, emotional agility, embodiment, religious deconstruction, brain science, cultural influences, privilege & oppression, HAES, and couple/family systems. I am accepting new clients and I'd love to meet you! For CO: in-network with Aetna and Cigna. For IL: in-network with BCBS. I also partner with a company called Mentaya that helps clients access their out-of-network benefits. You may be eligible to receive partial reimbursements for your sessions. Hey there! I’m Katie. As a therapist I assist people through all of of life's ups and downs. armed with compassion, humor, and a nonjudgemental attitude I help people tackle obstacles and reach goals. First off, let's acknowledge the elephant in the room – therapy can be intimidating. It's not every day you spill your innermost thoughts to a stranger. But that’s where my job comes in, I will work to build a relationship with you at your own pace and get you to a place where you feel able to be open with me. That isn’t to say that therapy is always comfortable, but I believe you should always feel that you have control. I will never force you to explore anything, but I will guide you towards things that you may not enjoy talking about. I'm all about building a solid relationship with my clients. Because therapy isn't just about fixing what's broken; it's about creating a space where you can be authentically you. Life transitions, grief, anxiety – you name it, we'll tackle it together. I believe that human connection is a huge part of therapy. It's about feeling heard, understood, and supported. You can expect some genuine conversations, maybe a few laughs, and yes, possibly even some tears. If you're feeling nervous about therapy thing, that's totally okay! I get it. I promise I won't judge, and there's definitely no need to impress me. Just come as you are, and we will go from there.
Flatirons Recovery provides compassionate, mindfulness-based addiction treatment services. Our treatment team focuses on healing the whole individual, instead of focusing on one specific area of a person’s life that may be problematic. We do this by working with clients to develop action plans for relapse prevention, beginning to heal trauma, learning skills for more successful coping with mental health challenges, eating healthier, getting more consistent exercise, and having fun in recovery.
Having over 20 years of experience, I specialize in guiding and supporting individuals as they navigate complex relationship issues. Many are family members who have loved ones that struggle with addiction. I help people resolve unhealed emotions and break patterns they’ve been stuck in so they can grow in setting limits, building confidence, and feeling better.
Welcome! I specialize in working with anxiety, relationship concerns, and eating/body image issues. College can be a whirlwind of new experiences, freedoms, and responsibilities. Add to that the current state of the world, and things can easily feel heavy. It's common that in the overwhelm of managing it all, anxiety around life, relationships, and food becomes a way to cope. If you've been struggling, you don't have to carry the weight of it alone-- finding a therapist you like and trust can change everything. I am trained in somatic therapy, which means we include body awareness as a way to get beneath the conscious mind and anxious thoughts that play on repeat. This helps to get in touch with what's really going on and find sustainable relief. Clients often say that somatic therapy promotes deeper change than other types of therapy they've tried before. I know it can take a lot of energy to start with a new therapist. I'm proud of you for caring for yourself by taking these steps. Reach out for a free 30-minute call so we can get to know each other and see if it's a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you!
