Hi and welcome to my page. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing outpatient therapy to children, adolescents and young adults. I spent my first few years serving the underserved in a community mental health clinic. During this time I supported clients experiencing a wide range of difficulties including: anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual abuse, grief and life transitions. I am particularly passionate about working with young adults around issues of anxiety, depression, relationships and grief. My approach is psychodynamic and collaborative, which means that I seek to understand your point of view and history while we examine together areas in which you may be struggling or feel "stuck." My goal is to meet you where you are and work together to improve your level of functioning and provide you with a fresh perspective that will empower you to live the life you want. I offer a free 10 minute phone consultation in order to determine if I am a good fit for your needs. I look forward to being a part of your journey.

Hi! My main goal is always to help my clients to help themselves, so you feel empowered to embrace stress and change as it comes. With experience working in an eating disorder hospital and 7 years working as a therapist in the Athletic Depts at UT Austin and CU Boulder, I've been involved with supporting my clients through the life challenges that high schoolers, young adults, and adults face for my entire professional career. I am EMDR certified and use this to treat trauma, eating disorders, chronic pain, urges in addiction/EDs, and sport performance (both positive reinforcement as well as treating mental blocks). I particularly enjoy teaching tools for navigating anxiety and depressive symptoms, helping to make peace with body image, and supporting mental performance for sport. I also have a passion for supporting perfectionists to expand their view of themselves and learn to release a little of the control that is actually controlling them!

College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming in ways you didn’t expect. You might feel like everyone else has it figured out while you’re quietly struggling with stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. Maybe you’re navigating a breakup, loss, or a shift in who you thought you’d be. I work with people who are trying to make sense of who they are while balancing school, relationships, and future pressure. My clients are thoughtful and self-aware, often the strong one for others, but underneath feel burned out or unsure of where they fit. In our work together, we’ll slow things down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. Therapy is collaborative and active. I’ll help you understand patterns, build tools to manage stress, and feel more grounded, confident, and connected.

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or disconnected? You’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I work best with college and graduate students who are carrying a lot on their shoulders, even if it doesn’t always show on the outside. Many of the students I support are struggling with anxiety, stress, or burnout. They may be navigating big life transitions like starting college, transferring, or getting close to graduation. Some are dealing with family stress, relationship challenges, or attachment issues. Others are carrying the impact of past trauma or loss. Many feel disconnected from themselves and unsure of who they are or what direction they want to take. You might look high-functioning on the outside but feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or numb on the inside. You may be the one everyone depends on, yet you rarely feel supported yourself. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place. My approach is warm, grounded, and trauma-informed. That means we go at your pace, focus on helping your nervous system feel safer, and work on real-life tools you can actually use between sessions. You do not need to have the right words or a clear goal before starting. Showing up as you are is enough. If you are a student who wants to feel more steady, more connected, and more like yourself again, I would love to support you.

I use a variety of clinical tools, including EMDR, to address the roots of problems, allowing you to move forward. I aim to leave clients feeling empowered by providing a supportive, safe, and affirming space where you can show up just as you are. Sometimes our minds get the best of us, creating unhelpful stories that leave us feeling overwhelmed and seemingly without hope. Reaching out for help in these times can be a difficult but strong first step because problems gain power in isolation and can keep us from thriving. I believe that our lives are made up of stories told and known through our relationships and community. Some of these narratives have provided us with a nourishing source of connection, health, and meaning, while others have disempowered us and left us feeling stuck. Identifying and exploring how you feel about these experiences and relationships can provide us roadmaps to your unique hopes for the future in stronger alignment with your core values and strengths. I am an affirming and inclusive licensed clinical mental health counselor who specializes in treating problems from a relational and holistic lens. In my work with clients, I integrate complementary methodologies including narrative therapy, experiential work, and somatic parts exploration to recover the contexts where thriving and connection have been possible despite the problems influencing your life. I have served diverse populations in private and group practice settings, residential facilities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. I am passionate about accompanying individuals experiencing personal life challenges and transitions, including depression, anxiety, grief, and loss. Many of my clients are navigating challenging interpersonal relationships and complex family dynamics as well as having suffered personal trauma and oppression, both within their family-of-origin and systemically as marginalized identities. Whether you’ve had experience with therapy previously or if this is your first time trying something new, I would be so happy to guide you through the process and help you regain agency in your life. If any of this resonates with you, our conversations will provide you with a safe space to begin exploring and empowering the lost parts of your experience, emotions, and identity from a new vantage where wholeness and connection are once again possible. Working together from a place of curiosity and heart, I would like to help you to re-author the life story you are writing. I look forward to speaking with you about the work that is possible together!

I work primarily with young adults who are navigating that in-between stage of life—college, early career, shifting relationships, and figuring out what’s next. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves, often dealing with anxiety, depression, or big life transitions. I tend to be a good fit for students who are looking for more consistent, ongoing support outside of a short-term counseling model. I also have experience working with clients who are struggling with higher levels of distress, including suicidal thoughts or self-harm, and I aim to provide a steady, supportive space where they can feel safe and work toward stability. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I focus on helping clients better understand what they’re going through, build coping skills, and feel more grounded and confident in themselves and their decisions. Because my practice is fully virtual, I’m able to offer flexible scheduling that works well for students balancing classes, work, and other responsibilities.

I work best with people who are curious about understanding themselves and the experiences that have shaped them. Many of the students and clients I support are navigating anxiety, stress, relationships, identity, career questions, major life decisions, or feeling unsure about their next steps. In addition to being a counselor, I am a psychology and career development educator. I regularly work with college students exploring their strengths, values, goals, and the question many of us face during transitions: “Who am I, and where do I want to go from here?” My approach is collaborative and human. Together, we explore your story with curiosity rather than criticism, better understand patterns, reconnect with your strengths and values, and build practical tools to help you move forward with more intention.

As an Asian American female with immigrant parents, navigating being a minority, assimilating into society and finding my cultural identity was a difficult time in my life. Unresolved childhood trauma and attachment issues are root causes that make us who we are - but that doesn’t mean we can’t work to change those maladaptive patterns you learned growing up… Do you also experience generational and childhood trauma, cultural expectations that don’t always align with societal norms, low self-worth and people pleasing behaviors? Do you want to change the way you react when your feelings get the best of you? Do you want to figure out the root cause of your anxiety or depression and heal your hurt inner child? Stop the cycle and be the first one in your family to start this healing journey. I’ll challenge and support you to help identify triggers, behaviors and feelings connected to past relationships or experiences in order to change the patterns that hinder you from being your best self. Offering therapy sessions in-person from my office in West Arvada, and convenient virtual sessions from anywhere in CO, MT, VT, ID and FL! The jump into adulthood is a wild ride. Even if you seem like you’ve “got it together,” there’s a lot happening—new social circles, changing relationships, big life decisions, and school or work stress that can feel like… a lot. It’s normal to need extra support while figuring out who you are and how you want to show up in the world. I create a safe, judgment-free space where you can talk it out, process what’s going on, and actually feel heard. We’ll work on developing effective coping strategies, building your confidence, learning how to set boundaries, and communicate effectively with those in your life. Sometimes it’s easier to open up to someone outside your everyday life—someone who can help you see things from a different angle without the drama. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations of children and young adults, and I’m passionate about helping people overcome obstacles and thrive. My approach is empathetic, nonjudgmental, and honest. I strive to meet people exactly where they are and support them in moving toward their goals. I grew up in Vermont, lived in Hawai‘i, NYC, and Denver and now call Whitefish, Montana home. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking in the mountains, relaxing at the lake, at a live show, or hanging out with my rescue dog, Hendrix.

I founded Keshet Counseling to support individuals who often feel overlooked or misunderstood in traditional therapy spaces. My work is especially meaningful to those navigating the complexities of chronic illness, such as Lyme Disease, Mold Toxicity, MCAS, and other invisible disabilities, as well as those facing antisemitism or discrimination for not aligning with political or institutional expectations. I also work closely with teens and adults dealing with antisemitism, narcissistic abuse, multicultural identity issues, codependency, love addiction, grief, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma. My approach is rooted in body centered somatic psychology using mindfulness. We’ll explore unconscious beliefs and patterns shaping your experience by noticing whats happening for you in this moment. I hold a humanistic view of healing: I believe you are already whole, worthy, and deeply capable of transformation. My role is to help reconnect you to your own inner knowing, and I view our relationship as a collaborative space where your voice and wisdom lead the way. I don’t believe there’s something wrong with you, rather, what happened to you.
