I view the soul as your mind, will, and emotions—the essence of who you are. Trauma can leave wounds that shape your view of yourself and the world, leaving fractures in your soul. Healing to me is not about ‘fixing,’ but about meeting yourself with compassion, understanding the protective patterns that once kept you safe, and reconnecting with the authentic self beneath them. I believe that every person carries an innate capacity for healing, even when pain and shame feel overwhelming. I trust that our wounds, when met with love and grace, can become openings to deeper wisdom, resilience, and growth. I also believe that healing is not a linear path—it unfolds gently, at your own pace, when safety and compassion are present. My work is rooted in the belief that wholeness is possible. "Grace softens the pain, love holds the wound, and compassion leads the healing.” The approaches I use are grounded in years of experience walking alongside survivors of trauma. Together, we’ll work with tools that go beyond surface-level coping and actually reach the root of what’s happening in your body and brain. Through Brainspotting, we can access and release the deep, unprocessed experiences that often drive anxiety and overwhelm. With trauma-informed DBT skills, you’ll learn practical ways to manage emotions, reduce shame, and build resilience. Using somatic approaches, we’ll gently reconnect with your body’s wisdom so that you feel more grounded and safe in your own skin. All of this work is held within a compassion-centered framework—because healing isn’t about fixing what’s ‘broken,’ it’s about meeting yourself with kindness and learning to trust your own inner strength. My goal is for you to leave therapy with tools you can carry with you anywhere—simple, effective practices that help calm your body, quiet your mind, and create space for peace.
Does it ever feel hard (or impossible) to just be yourself? You hear it all the time…people say, “just be you,” but it feels out of reach, too utterly terrifying, or too risky. Or maybe you are still discovering who you are. You’re asking questions and getting curious about aspects of your identity, how you view the world, and how you show up authentically in it. Maybe something shifted recently and you are trying to rediscover your sense of self while your world feels upside down. I help people find their most authentic self. In therapy, we get curious about different parts of ourselves. Parts that have had to stay hidden, parts that respond to triggers, parts we’ve been afraid to face. Working together, I'll support you as you deepen your understanding of your full self and increasingly show up as congruent, authentic, and fully you.

Life can feel overwhelming, and it’s okay not to have all the answers. I offer a supportive space to explore your story and take steps toward meaningful change. I work with those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, perfectionist tendencies, and life transitions. I’m especially passionate about supporting current and former athletes as they rediscover identity beyond sport(s). Using an empowerment-based, CBT & DBT techniques, Adlerian, and family systems approach, I help clients build resilience, find clarity, and move forward with confidence. I help high achievers of all facets explore how they became who they are today, understand how their mindset & perfectionistic tendencies impact their daily life, & learn healthier ways to navigate pressure, performance expectations, and the world around them. Across all areas, I seek to help clients foster resilience and empowerment in their lives. Reaching out for support takes courage, and it’s normal to feel uncertain about where to begin. My goal is to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel understood and supported. Together, we can work toward building resilience, discovering strengths, and moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I am an integrative, humanistic therapist who draws from many approaches to best serve my clients. I place an emphasis on creating a secure therapeutic relationship to foster a sense of safety and openness for clients. As we go through life, we develop habits and coping strategies to protect ourselves. I respect these coping mechanisms for the important role they play in helping us navigate the challenges of life. However, sometimes the very strategies that once helped us can become limiting or harmful. My goal is to support my clients in letting go of those old patterns and in discovering healthier, more effective ways to move forward. My work is rooted in empathy and the deep respect I have for each individual’s unique perspectives and life experiences. Humans are resilient beings, and I hope to help you bring awareness to the resilience within you.
I am a Licensed Psychologist who offers individual therapy, as well as learning disorders, ADHD, personality and psychopathology testing. My training has primarily consisted of working with college students in counseling centers and private practice settings. I offer therapy and have experience addressing depression, self-esteem, grief, relationships, anxiety, and identity development. I also offer comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for learning disorders and ADHD, as well as psychological evaluations to assess mood, personality, and relationship functioning. In psychotherapy and testing, I pride myself on taking a strengths-based approach; I believe that we all have undiscovered strengths that can be useful during challenging times. My theoretical orientation is Interpersonal, an integrative framework that helps you explore your life through the perspectives of connection, thoughts, and emotions. I welcome you to be all of who you are, while helping you explore all that you can be. You may be wondering if you are capable of taking this step, and the answer is YES! It may take you out of your comfort zone, but you are not alone once you step outside of it. Sometimes we need additional support to reach our potential and navigate change, and it is my honor to be a helping hand in your life. * I am a Clinical Supervisor at the Georgia State University Counseling Center (GSU Counseling Center). Services provided through my private practice are separate and independent from my role at GSU. Students are free to choose any provider listed on ThrivingCampus or seek services elsewhere, and selecting my services will not influence access to care, services, or standing within the GSU Counseling Center.

I find myself often working with high-achieving folks who have been thrown one too many curve balls in life. Whether it's a life transition, a break up, overwhelm with work, stress with family members, or a death, these folks find themselves at the end of their rope and needing to find a pressure-release valve.
I address anxiety stemming from social, school, and family dynamics, providing the necessary support to navigate these changes. I assist in the transition from college to career, including complexities in dating, family, and work, offering a safe space to explore self-identity and achieve life goals. We will collaborate using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy. What does this mean? It means we will identify the false scripts keeping you stuck and create a new storyline where you are the main character shaping your life. In my space, every uncomfortable feeling is accepted, and every question is worth asking. Whether you’ve never sought counseling before or have been in therapy for years, I believe my approach is unique. My goal is to empower you and watch you succeed. So, let's connect and collaboratively rewrite your narrative.
You feel the pressure to be in control all the time…with food, relationships, your job, your appearance. You may be fed up with melting down over a picture of yourself, feeling like you can’t stop thinking about food no matter what you do, or feeling hopeless that things will ever get better. You might not even remember a time things didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to go clothes shopping without fear. You’re ready to start spending time with friends again. Most of all, you’re ready to feel fulfilled and have the life you want. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who “gets” it, because therapy should be a place where you feel safe and supported to explore the roots of your relationship with food and body. Sessions with me are interactive and collaborative, and we always go at your pace, never pushing to a place you don’t feel ready to be. As an experienced eating disorder therapist, I believe that all women deserve to have permission (from themselves) to live full and empowered lives. You don’t have to keep feeling like a failure because your body has changed, and you don’t have to do it alone. Reach out today for a free 15-minute consultation. I can’t wait to hear from you.
I believe everyone makes sense. In sessions, it is my goal to collaborate with my client to develop an understanding of their feelings, thoughts, and actions within the context of their past and who they are. I work to cultivate a safe space, staying curious with my clients and holding space for life's challenges. You have everything you need to heal and grow. It is my privilege to walk alongside you and provide support in your healing journey.
If you're navigating life’s challenges, exploring who you are, or simply looking for a space to reflect and grow, I’m here to help. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and families to understand their emotions, process their experiences, and find clarity in moving forward. Whether it's managing stress, building more positive relationships, learning to advocate for oneself, or developing healthier coping skills, I would love to support you in discovering practical solutions and making choices that promote your well-being. I tailor my approach to fit you, drawing from behavioral theories with outcome-focused qualities. I aim to foster genuine and meaningful relationships with each of my clients so that we can work together toward creating a supportive space for growth, healing, motivated change, hope, and self-discovery.
