Beginning the process of therapy is a powerful step into understanding and developing the best self. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy. People are influenced by a variety of factors that influence their personal values and behaviors. It is incredibly important for me to honor a person where they are at. I collaborate with clients to work towards goals that are meaningful for them. I draw from a variety of frameworks and therapeutic treatment modalities. Traditional Cognitive Behavior Therapy is empirically sound and an effective theoretical approach I utilize. I also draw techniques from DBT, Person Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. I am EMDR trained and utilize this modality for those clients who have experienced acute and complex trauma. EMDR is also indicated for clients who have tried traditional therapy and feel "stuck". EMDR can help shift change as clients sort through negative memories tied to negative self beliefs. I have had the privilege of working with a variety of concerns. Many of my clients have struggled with adjustment, relationship issues, trauma, depression and anxiety.

I'm passionate about working with college students and recent grads. The transition from being a dependent to independent adult occurs rapidly while you're attending college and again once you graduate. It's common to experience anxiety and depression in the form of worrying about everything under the sun or feeling down more often than usual to simply feeling overwhelmed 24/7. I'm here to walk with you through those feelings, give you skills to cope with them, and process them along the way.

Life can be difficult to maneuver. As multifaceted individuals we often carry a little weight in every one of our realms. These weights can be a result of the specific “trauma points” that we’ve held on to as our perspective has grown over time. Those points look like family conflict, life transitions, career stress, relational/personal redevelopment or many other reasons for why we may have crossed paths here today. Overall, how we engage with those points affects our relationship with healing. Whether we recognize it or not, we all could have used guidance through a period of suffering. Every doubt is an opportunity for growth. “As you start to walk along the way, the way appears…” Trusting the journey by learning through our opportunities for growth can align us with our highest possible outcomes. To do that, I use a few types of therapy such as EMDR, CBT, Solutions-Focused & Strength-Based learning techniques to help encourage an atmosphere where growth is focused & intentional. It could be helpful to remember that the journey is the process. As we learn ourselves through guided introspection we can gain insight into patterns that contribute to our daily habits. You are exactly where you’re supposed to be. My intention is to meet you where you are, with respects to your journey. I look forward to walking along the way with you.
Hello! I'm so glad you're here! I work with folks who have learned to survive and navigate the world by making themselves small, putting their heads down, and doing the hard things that no one else will. They are intelligent, resourceful, and strong, so it is tempting to feel like if they try harder, think more, or be less themselves- all their feelings, challenges, or circumstances will change. But that hasn't been working. Often, they find themselves at the end of their rope, exhausted, disappointed, and unable to trust anyone- even themselves. If that sounds like you, I’m here to tell you- you are not alone. You deserve to be the fullest version of yourself with all the gentleness, acceptance, and support you dreamed of at the end of that rope. My goal for my clients is to work together to untangle the web of experiences, beliefs, and expectations that makes them feel stuck in survival mode, find healing, and move forward with self-compassion and hope. I view my role in therapy as a partner and a safe environment for my clients as they learn to hear, trust, and use their voices after the world has worked tirelessly to keep them quiet. I thrive in the real, raw, and grounded parts of life and hold space for my clients as they learn to unpack, access, and integrate their truth in those areas.
Do you struggle with just being yourself these days? Well, kick off your shoes, relax, put up your feet, let's get real and talk. Many people see therapy as a never ending cycle of therapists sitting with a notepad repeating, "How does that make you feel?". I can assure therapy with me is never a cliche. I know how easy it is to feel alone and always asking why me. Some days it's easy to feel trapped looking for the fastest escape. Others you want to burst into tears or moments you feel like you're making all the wrong choices. I can understand if you need a break and want to scream. I'm here to help. Let's explore those issues you may be struggling with together and take back control of your life.
Welcome! I'm Dr. Jasmine Easley, a trauma based therapist helping teens and women to heal trauma through mindful presence. Have you experienced trauma in the past and never got a chance to really talk about it? Do you feel like your mind is occupied with so many thoughts at once? Or maybe you've lost interest in things, and feel your body battling with unwavering emotions that you don't know how to control. Healing is a journey, but if you're ready to take a step back into those past experiences, then you're in the right space. This is your time to confront those thoughts and emotions, and learn healthy skills to address them. If you reside in Georgia or Michigan, I'm here to help you heal through traumatic experiences by fostering a state of mindfulness. I work from a holistic approach, which means along with talk therapy to address past trauma, I will also teach you skills to manage and reduce anxiety, depression, and stress. We will also focus on habits around sleep, nutrition, physical health, and self-care. I look forward to working with you!
Many of the students I work with share something in common: they’re trying to juggle a lot at once. Between classes, assignments, work, relationships, and figuring out their future, life can feel overwhelming. Some struggle with stress and anxiety, others with low motivation, mood changes, or difficulty focusing. And many feel like they have to hold it all together on their own. In our work together, I provide a supportive space where you don’t have to have all the answers. My goal is to help you sort through what feels heavy, build tools to manage stress, and find balance so you can feel more like yourself again. You don’t need to know all the “right words” or have it figured out before you start—we’ll work together to make sense of what you’re going through. If you’re a student who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready for extra support, this is a place where you can be honest, breathe easier, and move forward at your own pace.

Hi! My name is Katie (she/her), and I’m excited to work together. My goal is to help you feel safe, comfortable, and free to open up at your own pace. I believe our experiences—past and present—shape the way we think, feel, and move through life. By exploring and validating your thoughts and emotions, we can start to untangle patterns, make sense of what feels overwhelming, and work toward healing. I’m here to support you whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, grief, body dysmorphia, sexual and gender identity issues, relationship/work stress, and/or chronic illness. Finding the right words to express what you’re feeling isn’t always easy, and that’s okay. Sessions are tailored to what feels right for you. We’ll draw from psychodynamic, somatic, creative arts, and other trauma-informed approaches. Empathy, warmth, and humor are central to my practice, creating a space where you can explore and grow. Currently, I’m an MSW student at Yeshiva University in New York City and hold an MA in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. I look forward to meeting you! -- Katie Colton is a therapist-in-training at Sol Health. I love working with people who think they may have lost the plot. Who wonder if their symptoms may be a natural reaction to our society and our utter disconnection....from everything. I see you, and I get it. I think there is more to a life well-lived than mainstream notions of success. Come explore your life through values exploration and honest self-assessment, whether short or long-term. Welcoming and affirming for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC. I have an eclectic approach, which is a fancy way of saying that I don't rely on any one way of approaching curiosities. But my starting point is always from a place of your strengths, the things you are doing well, and your unique interests/wants/needs. I trend toward elements from Acceptance and Commitment, Positive Psychology, Existentialism, Brief Solution- Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation, Radical Acceptance, and Mindfulness. I am progressive in my politics, non-religious, and I believe that cursing is a valid form of self-expression. Humor is a big part of how I communicate and I believe it can get us through a lot of things. Despite being a middle-aged white woman who grew up in the south, you will find no bigoted mindset here. I will never pretend to understand the totality of your experience, but I do promise to see you, hear you, and respect you, while being mindful of the systemic, familial, and cultural issues that may be impacting you. I have stopped taking insurance because of all the barriers it creates from its medical model of viewing functionality and need. I know this creates a financial barrier for some, but I believe that until the system changes, its more of a detriment overall. But lets check those out-of-network benefits and see what we can squeeze out of the insurance company for you :)
