For me, I aim to help others transform their lives through compassionate, personalized care (with plenty of humor along the way). I specialize in working with people of color, student-athletes, and those who are neurodivergent. If you’re neurodivergent and reading this, you’ve finally found someone who specializes in and deeply understands your unique perspective. Whether seeking clarity on behaviors, understanding how you interpret the world, or navigating challenges like job functioning and ADHD, I’m here to help. I'm genuinely excited and honored to work with each of my clients and help them reach their goals in life. This isn't just my job, as all my clients will tell you—this is my passion. This is my life. I'm different from any therapist you've ever had, and together, we'll be one of the best teams. I'll be there for you through life's challenges, the ups, the downs, the hardships, the sadness, the happiest moments, the joys, and the promotions 🎉. We'll support and empower you to be the best version of yourself, even if that best version is just not hating yourself anymore. Welcome to the Different Spectrums family! If you're curious about my style and humor, you're welcome to listen to our podcast, which has over forty thousand followers. I enjoy pickup basketball, weightlifting, and yoga outside the therapy room. I'm currently adding golf and fishing to my repertoire. I admit to a penchant for reading half-bought books and comics. To unwind, you'll catch me enjoying Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu comedies. 🏀💪🎓🎣📚 #TherapistExtraordinaire

Scared (insert adjective) may be what you feel, brave is what you are. College- an excellent time to think about who you are and who you are becoming- not what you are doing, no, this can change. Who do you BE? And do you remember that you are loved for that being; that you are ok and not ok? Let's enjoy story, silence, and shifting the maps in our heads until we feel more confident traveling this path and seeing where it leads.

Hi! My name is Stacy, and I am really happy you're here. College can be exciting... and overwhelming. Between classes, relationships, expectations, and figuring out who you are, it is A LOT to carry on your own. Having worked in higher ed for over 20 years, I recognize the unique pressures you face - performance demands, identity exploration, and finding the balance between independence and support. I know one thing for sure - the college transition is a rocky one for most of us and reaching out for support is one of the smartest things you can do. I work with LGBTQ+, athlete, and faith-based students as well as those struggling with addiction, body and/or eating issues. Together, we can address any challenge you are facing.
Why does it always feel like the to-do list is never-ending and what’s done is never quite enough? You are diligent about keeping on top of things and it’s gotten you pretty far. Yet, you find yourself asking “I’m running myself ragged for this?” Work-life balance? Who has time for that! Well, you are not alone. Like you, the individuals I work with tend to be busy, successful, professionals who feel stressed, anxious, and unsatisfied and struggle with burnout and imposter syndrome. They seem like they have it all together but live in fear of dropping the ball while trying to juggle all the other ones in the air. Sound familiar? The good news is that it doesn’t have to be this way. I help you sort out what needs to change and how to create a life where you feel excited and fulfilled. None of that is easy, but it is doable. My approach is genuine, kind, and challenging with a bit of cheerleader because we all need a friendly push sometimes with someone encouraging us along the way. You’re busy and don’t have time or energy to spend on things that don’t work. I use evidence-based strategies customized to meet your unique needs. Together we’ll create a plan that works for you. I offer individual therapy exclusively online as well as other services such as workshops and mindfulness. Contact me for a free consultation.

At Anam Cara Counseling, our mission is to foster healing within individuals, families, and the community by addressing emotional wounds, nurturing resilience, and championing mental wellness. We provide trauma-informed mental health counseling for adolescents, adults, veterans, and families through a variety of evidence-based and experiential approaches tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Our practice offers traditional talk therapy alongside specialized services such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Trauma-Focused Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, mindfulness-based approaches, somatic and nervous system-informed interventions, and other trauma-focused modalities. Equine-assisted psychotherapy is a powerful experiential form of therapy in which clients interact with horses for personal insight, emotional regulation, connection, and growth. No riding or horse experience is required. We believe healing happens in the context of safe, attuned relationships. Many individuals come to us during some of the most vulnerable, confusing, or painful periods of their lives, and we strive to create a space where they feel seen, supported, and empowered to move toward healing at their own pace. Our work emphasizes emotional safety, authenticity, nervous system regulation, self-understanding, and resilience. At Anam Cara, we recognize the deep connection between mind, body, relationships, and environment. Whether in the therapy office, outdoors, or alongside the herd, we seek to provide compassionate, individualized care that honors each person’s story, strengths, and capacity for growth and healing.
Depression, anxiety, addictions, and relationship struggles have all become commonplace in our culture. Are you struggling to find peace and joy? Have your choices or the choices of others left you feeling broken? Are you searching for hope amidst seemingly hopeless circumstances? "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life." Proverbs 13:12 Faithful Counsel is a group of like-minded, Christian mental health counselors (independently contracted) who desire to see hearts healed through counseling with truth in love. If you have a measure of faith, Faithful Counsel hopes to exhort and encourage you to grow stronger in it. If you are experiencing doubt, aren't sure what you believe, or even consider yourself agnostic or atheist, we would still encourage you to explore the possibility of a loving Creator. God makes many promises to His people, if there's even a remote chance that those promises are true, aren't they worth genuine exploration?
Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes, even the strongest people amongst us need a little bit of help to work through some of life’s more challenging problems. Everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome at some point. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or any other issue, you should know that there is hope. I provide a warm and nurturing, non-judgmental space that will enable you to explore and work on your goals. Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path" - Anonymous
I specialize in working with "high achievers." Many of my clients are accomplished problem solvers but they find themselves stuck, frustrated, dissatisfied, distressed, or disconnected and they aren't getting getting where they want to go. I use a relational framework to help them develop a deeper understanding of the issue(s) and work from there to support them as they learn, grow, and discover sustainable and meaningful solutions to the challenges they are facing. This is hard work, but if you are up for the challenge it can also be some of the most meaningful work you'll ever do!
We offer psychological testing to individuals aged 16 and older. We specialize in evaluations for ADHD, autism, and complex mental health concerns. Our owner, Dr. Jessi Manning, completed most of her training and the first 5 years of her career focused solely on college students, and she maintains a passion for this population. We are focused on neurodiversity and other aspects of diversity, especially in regard to sexual orientation and gender identity. You can begin the testing process by scheduling a free 15 minute phone consultation from the website.

Recognized Authority: As the author of The Insiders Guide to Parenting and The Insider's Guide to College, and host of The Better Semester podcast, my frameworks are grounded in nearly 25 years of specialized clinical experience. Background & Expertise With a Master's degree in Community Counseling and extensive clinical training, I have dedicated my career to collegiate mental health.
