Therapists for college students near 02138
I've spent the majority of my career working with teenagers and young adults. Since 2020, I've been working in a college mental health center, where I help students navigate the challenges of being in academics while also attending to the complexities of life. I love working with college students and witnessing the incredible change that can happen during this important time in life. When working together, I will always meet you where you're at, help you formulate your goals, and gently push you towards values-based living. I specialize in treating OCD and anxiety, including phobias and social anxiety. My hope is that I can help you find your voice and build confidence through my compassionate, down-to-earth therapy style. I also love to infuse creativity whenever possible to help deepen the therapeutic experience and foster self-reflection.

My goal is to help you build a meaningful life by identifying and embracing your authentic self. I emphasize teaching coping skills that will empower you to confront life's many challenges with dignity and integrity. Compassion and social justice are at the center of my practice. My approach is collaborative, curious, strengths-based, and playful. As we confront your experiences of suffering or injustice, you will find me both empathetic and irreverent: there is strength in humor and in sincerity. In our first sessions, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we clarify what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. I firmly believe therapy should be a place where you feel seen, valued, and understood, and I encourage you to reflect on whether this feels true after our first meeting.
