I am a clinical psychologist practicing in-person in Philadelphia PA and via Telehealth in Boston, MA. I work with adults with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, coping with medical illness, immigration stressors, self-esteem issues, and questions of identity. I believe I work particularly well with people who want to feel closer to themselves and others. In my practice, I focus on building a strong relationship based on trust, acceptance, and authenticity. I create a collaborative, warm, and non-judgmental space. As you put words to your thoughts and feelings and examine current and past experiences, we’ll gain insight into your unique ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. Recognizing emotions and patterns that have roots in the past can free you up to live a more full and meaningful life in the present. My therapeutic approach is primarily psychodynamic, and I also integrate other techniques that can help with more immediate symptom relief, such as acceptance-and-commitment therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Whether you want to address specific symptoms, cope with difficult realities in your life, or deepen your self-understanding, seeking therapy is an important decision. I understand that finding a therapist can feel daunting, and it's important to find someone who feels like a good match. If you're thinking about starting therapy, please feel free to reach out to me for an initial consultation. I would be happy to have a conversation with you about what you’re looking for and how I can help.

Shoreline Wellness Center places a focus on talk therapy (psychotherapy) to help patients better manage the stress they encounter in their daily life. Working with a therapist has many benefits, such as coping with feelings, facing and solving problems, or changing behavioral patterns that are leading to some of your symptoms. In therapy, we don’t just talk about problems. The main goal is to develop a reasonable and doable solution. Sometimes you may have “homework” to complete for your therapist. This may include something like tracking your moods throughout the day, journaling about your thoughts, going out of your way to be social, or joining in activities that caused you to feel anxious in the past. Your therapist may even suggest for you to try to look at things differently or to learn new skills to use in your everyday life. Therapy focuses on current and past thoughts, feelings, and issues. Both are important, as they may very well be connected in some way. Discussing your challenges and having an open dialogue is the key to finding the solution to help your present and prepare for your future.
Hello! My overarching approach is Relationship-Based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I find that integrating CBT with key therapeutic relationship factors such as validation, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness produce the best outcomes. When appropriate, I also utilize such approaches as mindfulness, acceptance, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills. My goal is to not only reduce the distress from your presenting problems but also improve your overall well-being and experience personal growth across many facets of life. I have specialized in treating adolescents and adults in various settings, from inpatient psychiatric hospitals to community outpatient clinics. I can treat significant mental health issues like PTSD and chronic depression, while also providing support for significant life adjustments like transitioning to college and high school related stressors. I’m originally from central MA and a psychology professor at Assumption University where I teach graduate students to be CBT counselors. Please feel free to explore my website to learn more about me and the services I provide. I pride myself in establishing a strong therapeutic relationship while working towards goals that are important to you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and families through both school-based and clinical counseling settings. For several years, I have worked as a school adjustment counselor, helping students navigate academic stress, social challenges, emotional regulation, and mental health concerns. This role has allowed me to work closely with students, families, educators, and support staff to create practical strategies that help young people succeed both in and outside of the classroom. In addition to my work in schools, I have clinical experience providing individual therapy in outpatient mental health settings, supporting clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach integrates evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused strategies, and strengths-based counseling. I also bring a unique perspective through my experience coaching high school athletics, where I have seen firsthand the pressures that young athletes face—balancing performance expectations, academics, identity development, and social dynamics. This experience has shaped my passion for helping athletes develop mental resilience, confidence, and healthy coping skills. At the same time, my practice is open to any individual seeking support, whether they are navigating stress, relationship challenges, emotional struggles, or major life transitions. I am a licensed psychotherapist utilizing holistic, creative modalities to provide healing that is effective for children, adolescents and adults. I utilize two main modalities in my practice: Expressive Arts Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Through these modalities, I empower people who are having difficulty with depression and anxiety due to transitions, low self-esteem, stress, chronic pain, relationship issues, work/school obligations, trauma and grief. Expressive Arts Therapy is an effective way to process difficult emotions by making meaning through the exploration of our creative works. EFT is part of a holistic mind-body movement that works by finding the negative charges in our bodies while simultaneously sending calming signals to decrease our physical and emotional responses. My clients describe me as relatable, comforting, and validating. With compassion and acceptance, I welcome you to join me just as you are.

Sometimes it's really hard for us to ask for help-especially when you're a strong, independent woman. Therapy is a great way to reach out, learn more about yourself, and grow through any challenges you might be facing. I help women who want to change their relationship with food and their bodies. I work with women in individual, group, & virtual therapy. I have a holistic approach that covers a wide range of symptoms & issues, but I enjoy helping clients who have struggled with their weight make peace with food. I love working with college women who are graduating & seeking support for the transition, and specialize in those women experiencing a "quarter life crisis". I also have a lot of experience helping women with recovering from sexual trauma. I love working with women who may have experienced an unplanned pregnancy or abortion as well, and offer an non-judgemental, pro-choice arena to explore emotions.
