Do you sometimes feel unsure of who you are? Are you going nonstop because being still feels impossible? Do you find that you're often trying to make yourself fit others' expectations, leaving you feeling uncomfortable in your own skin? Maybe you've lost a sense of who you are, always questioning everything you do and not wanting to be too much. You might freeze up, experiencing headaches and tension. You could be trying to control things like food intake or find yourself late-night bingeing. The ways you used to cope don't serve you anymore, leading to shame spirals and constant self-blame. It's hard to prioritize yourself when your mind is always racing. But you want more from life. You want to understand yourself, live in the present, and create a life that aligns with your values. You crave connection with others, the freedom to move comfortably, and the ability to trust your emotions. Your goal is to feel safe and free in your body, build healthy relationships, and find liberation. Therapy can help you find peace and deeper connections, especially when dealing with trauma and PTSD. Reaching out is a courageous act. In our sessions, we’ll focus on curiosity, presence, connection, and ease. I will provide a safe, non-judgmental space where your experiences are valued. Building trust is key. As a neurodivergent person in a larger body, I offer a unique perspective and empathy. My approach is rooted in cultural humility, offering HAES-aligned, fat-positive, neurodiversity-affirming, and gender and sexuality affirming care. We’ll mix processing and skill-building to help you manage emotions and reconnect with your body. Therapy can help you break trauma cycles and find fulfillment. Let’s take this step together, toward healing, connection, and peace.
My name is Haeden Peaslee (pronouns: they/them) and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. I am a white, non-binary, neurodivergent individual working and living in the unceded territory of the Pennacook communities with the Pawtucket Village and Wamesit Village. I provide a combination of talk, play, and art therapy to clients. I utilize a client centered and strengths based approach with a focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship and encouraging self compassion. I am always in the journey of decolonizing my therapy practice and finding ways to re-imagine my field and encourage colleagues to do so as well. During sessions I integrate beliefs in trauma informed care, anti-oppression work, neurodiversity, disability justice, health at every size (HAES), and gender affirming care among other areas of liberation work. My specialty is in supporting trans and nonbinary youth, young adults, and their families in both identity related areas as well as other mental health concerns. I also have extensive experience working with youth and young adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and autism.
Welcome! I'm so glad you've found your way here. College can be an exciting time, but it can also come with stress, old wounds that resurface, anxiety, and moments where you’re just not sure who you are or where you’re headed. Therapy can be a space to slow down, breathe, and talk honestly about what’s going on - without judgment. My goal is to create a place where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and safe to figure things out at your own pace. We’ll work together to understand the patterns, thoughts, and emotions that might be keeping you stuck, while also tapping into the strengths you already have (even if you don’t always feel them). I see therapy as more than “fixing problems”—it’s also about reconnecting with yourself, growing in confidence, and building a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you want to be. I use an individualized, integrative approach—drawing from psychodynamic therapy, relational work, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—because there’s no one-size-fits-all path to healing. This means we’ll explore your past and present experiences, uncover what’s behind certain reactions or habits, and bring compassion to every part of you. I’d be honored to walk with you as you learn to trust yourself, practice self-kindness, and reclaim your voice. Together, we can explore what matters most to you and help you move toward a life with more clarity, confidence, and connection.
I believe emotional healing happens in a therapeutic relationship. I offer relations-oriented, emotion-focused psychotherapy to clients interested in relieving symptoms, identifying patterns, resolving conflicts, building satisfying relationships, finding fulfillment in life, etc. My work is trauma-informed due to my passion for trauma treatment, especially that of developmental trauma, and an understanding that traumatic experience is existentially inevitable in human life. I also have a particular interest in helping college/graduate students, parents having young children, and new immigrants navigate challenging life situations. Guided by a humanistic and dynamic approach, I help people create desired, lasting changes. Our work together will be highly individualized, to first gain a thorough understanding of you and then meet your unique needs towards emotional growth and other goals. My rich cross-cultural experience is a valuable asset in my work with diverse populations. Life is a journey and can be turbulent. I would like to be a travel companion in your journey of self-exploration, self-discovery, and self-improvement!

Hi, thanks so much for taking an interest in my practice. It takes great courage and awareness to come to the decision to reach out for support. I see clients in my office in Cambridge, MA, near Davis Square, and in Melrose, MA, as well as by teletherapy/videochat. I specialize in helping people to free themselves from the 'silent conversation' that we have with ourselves throughout the day. By understanding how this conversation influences our thoughts, feelings, and actions, it is possible to adapt it to feel more empowered in life. It is my hope that your therapy experience will feel comforting, meaningful, real, and effective in getting to the heart of your core concerns. I work from an integrative framework in a warm and interactive environment, drawing from holistic, cognitive, and psychodynamic influences to help people to reclaim a sense of choice and authorship in their lives. My background includes more than 25 years in clinical healthcare, school, and community settings working therapeutically with individuals, couples, and groups on a wide-range of issues causing acute and chronic distress. Life can be a lot! There are times when people may feel hopeless, isolated, or like they have no choice but to struggle alone. As a queer person, I know the importance of connection and community. My goal is to offer a space where you can feel safe in vulnerability and supported in facing challenges. I work primarily with adults and college-aged individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in emotion-focused, relational work. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to find the best fit for your unique needs, believing that healing is not one-size-fits-all. Being ready to start therapy doesn’t mean you have to feel ready to dive in head-first. Sometimes, the first challenge is simply taking that first step. If you want to do that, I will meet you at your pace with honesty, care, and respect as we work together toward understanding and change.

At Soul Sprout Mindful Care, we are dedicated to helping you and your family achieve Mental Health. We believe that Mental Health is just as important as physical health, and we treat it as such. We are committed to providing therapeutic services including individual outpatient therapy, family outpatient therapy, and couples outpatient therapy. A therapist will work with you to develop a treatment plan, with interventions tailored specifically to your needs. We believe that you should be heard, and we take supporting you very seriously. In the African American community, we are haunted by intergenerational trauma that shapes how we view and operate within the world. By increasing the frequency with which people of color pursue therapy, we work to break the cycle of trauma and aid you in beginning a new family tradition of mental health. We are honored to work to be a part of this change! Our number one priority is the health and safety of our clients. We're working to provide telehealth services via zoom during this COVID crisis.

Perhaps you’ve been feeling overwhelmed recently. Or you’re struggling with constant worry and stress. Being a young woman and trying to find your way into adulthood is not an easy path. Anxiety is a common feeling during this time, and a natural human emotion, but too much of it can prevent us from leading the life we want. We all go through difficult times, and sometimes we need a little extra support to see our way through. I view my role as a therapist as a supportive and encouraging guide. Together we’ll explore unhelpful thoughts and patterns getting in the way of you becoming the woman you want to be.

In her practice, Dr. Mack helps patients to change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior to feel more centered in the present, connected to their values, and able to live the life they want. Seeking mental health treatment is a big step. I commend you for taking it. Finding the right fit in a therapist is also important. I understand that the process of seeking and coming to therapy is not an easy one and that the vulnerability of therapy can be intimidating. It can be difficult to step into vulnerability in a world that equates vulnerability with weakness. However, I hope to redefine strength, as most healing comes from raw, unfiltered moments of self-reflection and honesty, and it is through seeking out the help to heal that courage is displayed. Imagine a life where struggles become steppingstones and every hurdle leads to personal growth. At one point, we all seek out a compass to help navigate through the journey of life. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I find it important to identify the source of your difficulties and then use evidence-based treatments to reduce distress and help you live a more fulfilling life. My approach to treatment is most consistent with the principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT); although I integrate different techniques to fit each client’s needs. I am committed to helping adults learn how to better understand themselves and their relationships with others. Whether your struggles have been present for a long time or are new, I value understanding your perspective and unique emotional experience so that we can create a trusting therapeutic relationship. I value honesty, integrity, and transparency to promote trust building within the therapeutic relationship to help bring about personal growth. To promote success, we must be a good fit for each other. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals with different concerns, including depression/mood disorders, anxiety, anger, sleep problems, substance use, interpersonal communication, relationships, and more. I also recognize that not all psychological pain can be considered “disordered” and may sometimes be a side effect of the human condition. So, whatever brings you to therapy I am happy to work collaboratively with you to make a treatment plan based on evidence-based treatments to give you the best opportunity for therapeutic success. I will then work with you to tailor a treatment plan that is unique to your background, experiences, and goals. Whatever challenges you face, I am here to be an unbiased outlet to support and guide you toward a more meaningful life. If making the call is difficult, I encourage you to contact me through other methods, such as email or message, if you have questions or want to schedule a time to meet.
