I have a passion for working with young adults as they navigate the, sometimes difficult, processes of exploring their mental and emotional health and well being while also juggling their school, work, and relationships in their life. I work with students who are experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, stress management, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, along with many other struggles that are occurring. When working together, you will be given a safe and nonjudgmental space to gain deeper insight into what you are struggling with. You will be able to take therapy at your own pace and develop skill to help regulate emotions, manage life stressors, experience growth, and access the strength you have had all along. We will work together as a team throughout. I offer an empathetic, caring, and trauma-informed therapeutic environment. I believe that you are the expert of your life and it is an honor to be apart of that journey. Let's connect further to see if this would be a space that could be beneficial towards helping you gain deeper insight into yourself and achieving your goals.

Hi, my name is Jonah Bayer and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts. I primarily work with students on anxiety, depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the music industry for two decades and also specialize in the unique challenges and pressures that can occur in creative collaborations. I give my clients a roadmap for personalized therapeutic goals, developing targeted coping skills and identifying triggers that may be unconsciously holding them back from living in a value-driven manner. " I use a blend of modalities, including DBT, EMDR and mindfulness skills in a holistic way to help work through issues that might be holding you back. My practice is unique due to my own life informed experience as a musician, journalist and psychotherapist. I truly believe that becoming less identified with unhelpful thought patterns can be truly liberating—yet it takes practice. I am passionate about helping my clients reach their goals and improve the ways they move through the world.

Starting or returning to college can bring up unique challenges—navigating relationships, managing stress, adjusting to new independence, or figuring out who you are and what you want. I work best with students who are thoughtful, curious, and open to exploring their inner world, even if that feels a little intimidating at first. Many of my clients are balancing academics with the ups and downs of friendships, family, dating, and questions about their identity. My practice is LGBTQ-affirming and welcoming to students of all backgrounds. I provide a calm and supportive space where you can slow down, untangle what feels overwhelming, and begin to feel more grounded. Whether you’re seeking clarity in relationships, support with stress or anxiety, or a place to process deeper emotions, therapy can be a meaningful step toward feeling more connected and at ease with yourself. Are you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like you're carrying invisible weight no one else can see? Whether you're juggling classes, navigating relationships, questioning your identity, or dealing with family or cultural pressure, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Tsuki, and I specialize in working with students who often feel like they don’t quite “fit the mold.” Many of the students I support are BIPOC, neurodivergent (ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD), and LGBTQIA+, and they're trying to make sense of who they are while moving through complex systems that weren’t built with them in mind. In therapy, your whole self is welcome — even the parts that feel messy or misunderstood. I offer online therapy in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese and bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to our work together. Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and always grounded in respect for who you are and what you need. If you’re looking for support with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity questions, or just feeling stuck — I’m here to help.

Having the ability to express yourself freely and without judgment is an essential part of therapy, and the relationship between client and therapist is a key aspect of this. As a social worker, I recognize the importance of human relationships and the environment we live in, as well as the negative impact they have on our ability to function. I utilize a person-centered, strengths based approach to understand individuals as a whole, and work collaboratively with clients to address their challenges and reach their goals. I provide individual therapy focusing on anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Identifying as a nonbinary lesbian myself, I understand how difficult it is to find a competent provider with whom you feel safe and understood. If you’ve made it this far, I encourage you to take the next step and reach out so we can see if this would be a good fit for both of us.

I offer 60 minute sessions and specialize in half day therapy retreats. A therapy retreat is an efficient and comprehensive pathway to heal trauma in consecutive days instead of over many years in weekly therapy, and can accelerate symptom relief. I utilize evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Progressive Counting, and the Flash Technique to effectively heal the roots of distressing emotions and negative beliefs stored within traumatic memories. I bring my passion for somatic psychology, trauma-sensitive mindfulness, and attachment theory to my therapeutic approach. I invite my clients to offer a gentle curiosity to all parts of themselves, so that together we may attune to what the body, heart, and spirit are most needing to restore wholeness. I offer Telehealth and in-person sessions at my Portland Old Port office. I welcome the opportunity to hear from you to determine if my services are a good fit for what you are seeking.
