I am a MA licensed therapist, with over 12 years of experience. I previously worked for a local crisis team and now run my own private practice. I graduated from Salem State University with my masters in 2012. I also completed a licensure program in school counseling. My main treatment areas are depression, anxiety, mood disorders, life changes, stress, and relationship concerns. My practice includes long-term supportive and insight-oriented therapy, as well as short-term solution-focused therapy and techniques of CBT. My therapeutic style is warm and active. I want you to feel supported, comfortable, and appropriately challenged in order for you to make meaningful changes in your life. My intent is to create a safe space where we can work together to address the issues you are facing, improve understanding of yourself, and help you feel less stuck in existing patterns.
Life can be a lot! There are times when people may feel hopeless, isolated, or like they have no choice but to struggle alone. As a queer person, I know the importance of connection and community. My goal is to offer a space where you can feel safe in vulnerability and supported in facing challenges. I work primarily with adults and college-aged individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in emotion-focused, relational work. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to find the best fit for your unique needs, believing that healing is not one-size-fits-all. Being ready to start therapy doesnât mean you have to feel ready to dive in head-first. Sometimes, the first challenge is simply taking that first step. If you want to do that, I will meet you at your pace with honesty, care, and respect as we work together toward understanding and change.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in diagnostic assessments and evaluations and psychotherapy. Within our practice, I supervise graduate level trainees who provide individual psychotherapy and assessment. We assess clients with a diverse range of clinical difficulties (e.g., Autism Spectrum, developmental/learning disabilities, psychiatric conditions, traumatic brain injury, ). As a clinician, my overarching goals are to help clients and their families assess for diagnoses that will inform treatment and advocate for supportive accommodations and/or services. I approach clinical work from a multicultural perspective and am strongly oriented with a humanistic, person-centered framework. Our clinicians bring experience, expertise and a team approach to diagnosing and treating. If an adult needs to see more than one clinician (e.g., individual, couples work), we work together to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
Life is a journey of continual self-discovery, filled with challenges, stressors, and moments of adjustment. Sometimes, these demands become overwhelming, and navigating them alone can feel overwhelming. As a therapist, I offer client-centered psychotherapy and consultation services for adults. My expertise lies in assisting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stressful life situations, relationship difficulties, and adjustments to life changes. Grounded in developmental, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and internal family systems (IFS) theories, my approach is focused on the client, practical, and strength-based.
I specialize in work with older teens & young adults, including young professionals and college students. I specialize in treatment of anxiety, depression, panic attacks, social anxiety, self esteem, stress related to âperfectionism,â & stress from life transitionsâ being a new high school student, college student, or a young professional comes with many sudden life changes, & you donât have to navigate this period of your life alone. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship & believe itâs the small things that create this alliance; youâll notice how I remember those details you told me because what you say is important to me! Each personâs treatment is approached uniquely because each person is different in their own special way. I aim to be thorough in my sessions & strive for each session to be a resting place. I offer down-to-earth talk with my clients about their concerns. I believe you will find the therapeutic process to be nonjudgmental and insightful. With me,the pressure to âbe a certain wayâ is off. I often use a therapeutic relationship-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework in my sessions to equip you to help take charge of your struggles. In the end, we are all human and many of us suffer with mental health concerns. We should never feel ashamed over this. I encourage you to reach out.

Our practice is fully virtual, allowing you to meet with a licensed therapist through secure telehealth sessions wherever you are â at school, at home, or anywhere in between.
