Hi, my name is Jonah Bayer and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts. I primarily work with students on anxiety, depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the music industry for two decades and also specialize in the unique challenges and pressures that can occur in creative collaborations. I give my clients a roadmap for personalized therapeutic goals, developing targeted coping skills and identifying triggers that may be unconsciously holding them back from living in a value-driven manner. " I use a blend of modalities, including DBT, EMDR and mindfulness skills in a holistic way to help work through issues that might be holding you back. My practice is unique due to my own life informed experience as a musician, journalist and psychotherapist. I truly believe that becoming less identified with unhelpful thought patterns can be truly liberating—yet it takes practice. I am passionate about helping my clients reach their goals and improve the ways they move through the world.

Hi, I’m LeAnna Longhi, a licensed therapist passionate about helping college students and young adults navigate life’s challenges. College is a time of growth and uncertainty, and can sometimes be overwhelming. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can show up as you are, feel genuinely heard, and start making sense of what you're going through. I was once in your shoes but also have a lot of clients that have been too. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or just stress of everything college brings (academics, lack of sleep, social relationships, etc). I’m here for you. My main job is to listen to you but also to challenge you and your thoughts. I really value working as a team with my clients, we work together to reach your goals, both small and big. I have over 25 years experience working with teenagers and adults. I understand the social, behavioral, and academic challenges clients face, not only with the pandemic, but with social media, peer pressure, self-esteem, eating disorders, relationships, decision making, substance use, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm. I provide cognitive behavior therapy, which is to help clients understand why they are thinking and behaving the way they are and to help them understand that in order to change for the long term, they need to first understand what is causing the problem. I help clients develop coping skills and self-care strategies for in the moment and every day use.
I am a holistic psychotherapist with over 20 years experience. I am passionate about helping creative, motivated, ambitious, open-minded people feel confident & comfortable in their own bodies, reclaim their sexuality and desire, heal through sexual difficulties, and live happy, healthy, and empowered lives. I work with people to better understand their relationships. Not only in relationship with partners and family members, but also their relationship to their own body, thoughts, stress, and Self. I aim to help you feel more confident and comfortable in your own skin. My professional and personal journey have led me to blend Western Psychology and Eastern Philosophy, mindfulness, compassion, breath and bodywork, neurobiology, mind-body techniques, and the creative healing arts when appropriate.
I offer 60 minute sessions and specialize in half day therapy retreats. A therapy retreat is an efficient and comprehensive pathway to heal trauma in consecutive days instead of over many years in weekly therapy, and can accelerate symptom relief. I utilize evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Progressive Counting, and the Flash Technique to effectively heal the roots of distressing emotions and negative beliefs stored within traumatic memories. I bring my passion for somatic psychology, trauma-sensitive mindfulness, and attachment theory to my therapeutic approach. I invite my clients to offer a gentle curiosity to all parts of themselves, so that together we may attune to what the body, heart, and spirit are most needing to restore wholeness. I offer Telehealth and in-person sessions at my Portland Old Port office. I welcome the opportunity to hear from you to determine if my services are a good fit for what you are seeking.
I enjoy working with clients that are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life stressors and developmental challenges. I am trained in EMDR, CBT and DBT. My approach is one of warmth, free of judgement and meeting you where you're at. I enjoy partnering with clients to reach their goals.
