We're a small group of clinical psychologists who love working with college students, using evidence-based therapies and supportive relationships. We offer individual and group therapies, and intensive therapy or coaching for times when you may need extra help fast. We have a lot of experience helping students across a range of life issues, including the stress of college adjustment, family and relationship concerns, and a range of psychiatric diagnoses like anxiety, ADHD, mood, or behavioral problems. Some of our team are college faculty, and others are supervisors or students, so we understand what our college clients may need. We see clients live in our Boston MA and Bloomington IN offices, as well as virtually in several states, including FL, IN, and Washington DC. Feel free to reach out to see if we are a good fit for you!

I am a psychotherapist with 10+ years of experience providing individual therapy for adults and adolescents. I have training in most major therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, SFBT, trauma-informed treatment, etc.) and my clinical focus is on in-depth psychoanalytic therapy. People come to work with me when there is a problem—a symptom, a conflict, a traumatic experience—that interferes with their satisfaction in life. Common issues include anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and difficulty with love and sexuality. Psychoanalytic work aims at addressing the real causes of these problems, and can result in new ways of relating to yourself. Therapy begins with an invitation to speak freely. It is a unique opportunity to hear what our struggles are trying to say. The challenge of therapy is that there are no ready-made answers, but I find that with the right therapeutic environment, everyone can figure out what to do with their obstacles on their path. I look forward to speaking with you about working together. Feel free to get in touch by email or schedule a consultation on my helloalma.com profile. I am currently accepting new patients for telehealth and in-person sessions at my office in Brookline, and can provide services in both English and Mandarin. 我會使用中文進行心理治療, 歡迎與我聯繫!
Hello! I am Yvette LeBlanc Gundry, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I specialize in supporting undergraduates, graduate students, post-grad, and adult clients who are parents or thinking about becoming parents through life transitions, relationship issues, and issues of self esteem and identity. I offer online and walk & talk therapy to folks who are looking for support during times of stress, are interested in finding meaning and connection, and improving their relationships with themselves and others. With compassion and humor, I strive for a collaborative relationship in which I provide a non judgmental space for each client to explore and process experiences. I utilize a relational, client-centered, grief & trauma informed approach tailored to each client’s needs, and often incorporate tools such as mindfulness, expressive approaches, mind-body approaches, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to empower clients. In my work with clients I provide information, encouragement, and support to help pave the way for meaningful change. I assist clients in navigating grief & loss, depression, anxiety, life transitions and direction, academic stress, relationship distress, trauma, perinatal/reproductive mental health, spirituality, and medical stressors & mind-body issues. I can help you develop self-understanding, gain confidence, and learn strategies to manage distress. I welcome individuals of all identities as clients, and where our identities or experiences differ, I hope to be an ally for you in your life.
I offer neuropsychological evaluations for college students. The purpose of these evaluations is to clarify the nature of students' struggles with attention, organization, or learning. Testing can be conducted in English and/or French.
It’s getting harder everyday to keep up with life’s responsibilities. You’re exhausted all the time and can’t stop thinking about future meals or the parts of your body that you hate. You want to get help but you don’t know where to turn, and nobody seems to be talking about how prevalent these issues are in men. You’re not alone. Recent studies have shown that 25% of those diagnosed with an eating disorder are men, and that gay and bisexual men are at an even higher risk. Whether you spend hours everyday thinking about your body, limit yourself to a very strict diet, or find yourself purging after meals…I see you. I know it feels like you’re drowning and can’t find anything to hold on to. But I want you to know that recovery is possible for you. The journey to get there may be long with a lot of ups and downs, but you’re not someone who backs away from a fight. You have things worth living for - and you deserve to experience them with a sense of joy and freedom. I work best with clients who are ready to make changes in their life and believe therapy can be helpful. Ideal clients are looking to establish a long-term therapeutic relationship, have an idea of what to talk about in therapy, and come prepared to sessions and ready to work hard towards bettering themselves.

At times, life events can seem to control the way we feel, creating feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. Other times, you may struggle with feeling unmotivated or purposeless without any specific cause. I believe psychotherapy empowers people by understanding specific struggles while actively developing skills to create change. A key part of our work will be identifying the things that matter to you and finding ways that therapy can bring you closer to a life that is more connected with your values. I have expertise in trauma and stress, substance use, grief, and motivational issues. I have extensive experience working with people from diverse backgrounds as well as treating military service members, veterans, and their loved ones. I thoroughly enjoy the collaborative process of determining what interventions will best fit your needs and look forward to understanding your treatment goals.

Sometimes, when people come to therapy, they’re looking for a solution to something that feels urgent or overwhelming. At other times, people can't put words to what's wrong, but they know that something that doesn't feel right. Whether you're looking for help with anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, or something else, my goal is to put our heads together to create a space where you feel truly heard and supported in order to find a way forward. I'm trained in English and Spanish in a variety of therapeutic modalities that range from meaning-oriented work and narrative therapy to behavioral techniques, but what's most important to me is that we come together and use pieces of any of those that will be helpful to the person that I'm sitting with. I have a few openings (in-person or virtually). Contact me for a 25-minute free consultation to see if my style would be helpful for you - or to possibly refer you to a colleague. Therapy is about seeking balance and asking questions and looking for answers. Finding a balance between what we feel and what we know and a balance between the quicker emotional side of our mind and the more considered rational side are part of the process. Whether the questions are around school, interpersonal relationships, substance abuse, or career and motivation the answers will come only with this balance. My approach to therapy is about solving problems based on a relational and collaborative approach offering a supportive and sympathetic ear balanced with reality and solutions. With nearly 25 years of experience in the field I bring a diverse background giving me strong clinical skills in the areas of substance abuse, depression, anxiety, career and family issues. Life is a series of experiments, some good some not so good. Therapy is a way to sort out the good from the bad and, giving yourself credit for what you know and can do and putting it to work for a better tomorrow I invite you to give me a call at 617-524-1220 To protect your privacy my phone is a confidential landline which does NOT accept text messages
