I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience working with children, teens, young adults, and parents in medical and community settings. In my therapy practice, I work with individuals (ages 18+) who are coping with anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues related to life transitions, caregiving, grief and loss, illness, relationships, and work/school challenges. My approach is integrative, compassionate, and collaborative, incorporating a wide range of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
Welcome! I offer a light hearted, approachable, and down to earth experience during sessions. I want all of my clients to walk away feeling motivated and secure with his/her journey towards wellness. Maybe you feel like something is "wrong" with you, you're stuck in life, or you're not even sure how to cope. I can help you take those difficult steps forward. I work with many clients that are dealing with current or past traumas, general anxiety, panic attacks, depression, stress management, and low self confidence. If you see yourself in any of those scenarios please reach out and let's talk! Allow me to be your sounding board. The first step towards healing is taking that initial step. Making sure my clients feel heard is my number one priority.
I offer a collaborative, accepting, and reflective space where you can better understand yourself and what’s getting in the way of the life you want. I help people explore emotional and relational patterns with curiosity and self-compassion. Many of my clients come to me struggling with anxiety, depression, or challenges in their relationships. For some, these experiences have been present for a long time; for others, they feel new. I’m proud of the supportive environment I create, and I see it as the foundation of meaningful therapy. Our work is most effective when you feel safe enough to talk about what’s hard to say elsewhere and my primary goal is to help make that possible. My approach is grounded in the belief that real change comes through insight, self-awareness, and genuine human connection.

Hi! I have over 15 years of practice providing therapeutic and habilitative supports to people with different needs and have had the honor of providing psychotherapy to children, adults and families over the last 8 years. I came to the mental health field through my work with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). I found that people can thrive when linked with the right supports, including service professionals who are dedicated, caring, empathic and invested. I find joy in supporting a person to find out what's getting them "stuck" and learning how to get un-stuck. This includes exploring ways to connect with other people in their lives, finding ways to increase self-compassion and engage in active problem solving, by finding creative and interesting solutions. This includes helping people try new things, while acknowledging that failure can happen (and often does!) that serves as an opportunity for continued growth and is part of the learning process.
I am a licensed mental health counselor specializing in working with adolescents and young adults (ages 13 and older) across various biological, psychological, and social backgrounds. My goal is to help you understand yourself within the context of your unique life experiences as you navigate mental health struggles. These may include emotional/behavioral dysregulation, communication challenges, life transitions, academic/work stress, grief/bereavement, LGBTQAI+ issues, harm reduction in substance use, and other day-to-day life stressors. The therapeutic alliance between therapist and patient is the most important part of therapy, and I am passionate about building that foundation of trust with you. Working together, you can expect an empowering, non-judgmental environment with a little sense of humor sprinkled in. I use a warm, welcoming, and person-centered approach to meet you where you’re at in your healing journey, allowing me to tailor my style and interventions to your therapeutic goals and needs. These interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, and more structured approaches to best help you meet your therapeutic goals. My path to becoming a therapist began one week into college, when I decided to switch my major from studio art to psychology. The motivation to make this drastic change and give psychology a try came from my own intuition and feeling like I had natural qualities of empathy and introspection. This journey of self-discovery deepened my commitment to helping patients identify what a life worth living and feeling of purpose looks like for them. My journey led me to work in a community agency as a therapist, where I found that my patients’ demographics were very different from one another and, as such, deserved their own unique approaches and integrated mix of interventions. Now, I am passionate about bringing that same energy to my practice at SOL Mental Health! Outside of sessions, I like to enjoy a wide range of hobbies, such as painting, hiking, playing the ukulele, and going to live music concerts.
I work best with college students and young adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, distracted, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of how to manage school alongside other life demands. Many of my clients are navigating ADHD symptoms, sleep difficulties, relationship concerns, identity exploration, family expectations, trauma, or major life transitions. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and judgment-free. I take time to understand the whole person—not only their symptoms—including sleep, nutrition, stress, daily routines, physical health, culture, and personal goals. Together, we develop a realistic treatment plan that may include medication, healthy lifestyle changes, and coordination with a therapist or other healthcare providers. I especially welcome students from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities who are looking for care that respects their identity and lived experiences.
If you want change at a pace you need, I can help you through a personalized therapy plan. I have advanced training working with areas listed including trauma, creative/ performing artists, survivors of sexual abuse and also with suicide survivors. I love working with people who feel drawn to explore their inner world, who sense there’s something meaningful waiting to be discovered but aren’t sure where to start. They long to feel more connected to themselves and others, and are looking for gentle guidance to help them get there. They want to understand the heart of what keeps them stuck in old patterns and finally feel the freedom of being their true selves. My counseling approach is primarily influenced by gestalt, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based therapy, as well as inner child work and the expressive arts. I believe that living with greater authenticity and wholeness starts with noticing and honoring all parts of ourselves, and taking loving actions that support our body, heart, and mind. When we do that, life begins to feel a little easier. We become less reactive, our relationships grow healthier, and we can meet challenges with more clarity and resilience. None of us are meant to walk this path alone. Having someone beside you who truly understands your struggles and believes in your capacity to grow can make all the difference. My own recovery journey, along with my education, training, and years of working with those navigating mental health challenges and addiction, allows me to meet clients with both skill and heartfelt understanding. Whether you are just beginning or well along your path, I am here to support you in moving toward a more whole and integrated life.

As students or professionals, it is more common than we recognize to be depleted by our daily routine, school or family; to experience self doubt, become overwhelmed or to live with ongoing stress/trauma. Without an opportunity for mental restoration we can become burnt out or disconnected by persistent feelings of depression, anxiety, frustration, apathy, grief or even chronic pain and illness. My aim for each client is to help you develop a greater sense of self-awareness, balance and control over your life. Even if you aren't quite sure of what it is you need - we'll figure it out together. I use a mixture of mixture of traditional therapeutic approaches and Nature Based Therapy (NBT), done either outdoors or in combination with telehealth. This could look as simple as a walk in a park or with more, immersive sensory experiences in nature to get your body in motion and feeling more alive. The ultimate goal is to reduce stress and increase your social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
