If you’ve been holding it together for everyone else — you’re in the right place. I work with college students who are smart, self-aware, and tired. Tired of feeling the pressure to have it all figured out. Tired of coping in all the wrong ways. My clients come in navigating problems like: anxiety and unhealthy behaviors, substance misuse, perfectionism and burnout, and PTSD/trauma. I currently accept new clients to participate in virtual sessions with, who are located in the states of NJ and PA. As your therapist, I will inquire what brings you to therapy and what goals you would like to work towards. Our work together will feel like conversations with someone who sees you, takes you seriously, and does right by you. My therapeutic style is a curated balance of guidance and compassion. I will advocate for you, support you, and celebrate your accomplishments. We may also curiously examine potential challenges or barriers, and how to overcome these, together. I invite you to reach out, so we may take the first step in starting our work together!

School can be some of the most rewarding years of your life but they can also be overwhelming. Between classes, internships, work, relationships, family expectations, finances, and figuring out who you are and where you're headed, sometimes it's good to have some extra support. Therapy gives you a place to talk openly about what's going on, without judgment. Whether you're feeling anxious, stressed, burned out, stuck, lonely, or simply trying to make sense of a major life transition, you don't have to navigate it alone. I work with college and graduate students on concerns such as anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, identity exploration, gender identity, academic stress, life transitions, binge eating, and body image. Many of my clients are also learning how to manage life on their own for the first time and are discovering that no one ever really taught them how to handle the emotional side of money. As a Certified Financial Social Worker, I can help you develop a healthier relationship with money, spending, debt, budgeting, and financial decision-making. Together, we can explore both the practical and emotional aspects of financial wellness so you feel more confident and in control. My style is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. I'll meet you where you are, help you build on your strengths, and offer practical tools along the way. If you're curious about working together, I'd be happy to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit.

Life is hard, especially when you feel like you just can’t manage everything on your plate. From school to work to relationships with friends and family, there is always a lot to juggle, and stress can build up quickly! When you’re overwhelmed, your behavior, mood, and relationships are all impacted, and it’s harder to be able to fully enjoy life. I help people who feel stressed and overwhelmed learn to manage their emotions so they can be the best version of themselves. I want to hear what is already going well for you, so that we can build on what is already working to improve behaviors, mood, and relationships. From there, we can make a plan to get you back to experiencing the best parts of life. Reaching out for support can be the hardest part, so I’m glad you are here. Contact me by phone or email to discuss options for setting up a consultation call or scheduling an appointment.

Over the last 13 years of being a therapist I’ve had the privilege to meet and treat so many people, each of whom was on their own journey to better mental health and now my own career journey has led me here. I started Caim Counseling as a place for people to address their mental health so that they can be empowered to heal. I believe strongly in meeting people where they’re at and tailoring mental health care treatment to what each individual needs. I have an eclectic approach which leans towards Person-Centered therapy and have done additional work in areas like women’s issues, eating disorders, anxiety, grief, and LGBTQIA+ specific concerns. I believe strongly in the equality of all people and am committed to having an inclusive practice. I can’t wait to meet you and see how we can work together to get you to a place of better mental health.

Welcome, I am a therapist specializing in mindfulness. I started my undergraduate education as a Journalism major, because I have always been drawn to others’ stories. When I realized I wanted to not only listen, but also learn how to help, I changed my plans and decided to become a therapist. Now, curiosity, warmth, and genuine interest drive my work with individuals and couples. I believe that creating a warm, accepting environment in which you can slow down and give yourself time to process and move toward more peace, more calm, and more acceptance is invaluable. I like to work slowly and intentionally, with mindfulness and compassion at the center of what I do.

College can be exciting, overwhelming, confusing, and transformative — often all at once. If you’re feeling anxious, stressed, burned out, unsure of your major, struggling socially, or navigating big life decisions, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I help college students who are experiencing: -Academic pressure, procrastination, or motivation challenges -Stress, anxiety, or burnout -Difficulty adjusting to campus life -Relationship or roommate concerns -Career uncertainty or fear about the future -Work–school–life balance struggles -Identity exploration or major life transitions My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly, gain clarity, and build the confidence and skills you need to move forward. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way, strengthen your coping strategies, and help you make choices that feel right for you. With over 18 years of experience providing personal and career counseling in community college and university settings, I understand the unique challenges students face — academically, socially, and emotionally. Hi, I’m Kiara, I’m the therapist behind Lunar Counseling! I work with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, and trauma. Too many people are stuck in a cycle of distress without truly resolving anything. This leaves many feeling detached, numb, and uncertain about their future. I believe most mental health challenges can be addressed through effective therapy and by developing healthy coping skills. BUT, that can be so hard to do on your own. I have found for many individuals, having a therapist to talk through issues can be a gamechanger for their mental health. So, I use my seven years of therapy experience to guide people just like you as you work through your mental health challenges and regain control of your life. To get started, your next step is to schedule a 15-min phone consultation to see if we are a good fit. You don’t have to let things get worse or stay feeling numb and overwhelmed. I can help guide you as you overcome your challenges and get back to feeling like yourself again.

People come to therapy for many different reasons, but, at the core, they are looking for understanding, relief, or growth. Maybe you’re trying to understand why you feel the way you do, or you find yourself caught in the same difficult thoughts again and again. Perhaps you’ve noticed patterns of behavior that seem to work against your own well-being. You might be facing a life transition—chosen or not—and are feeling anxious about what’s next. Or maybe you just feel stuck. Therapy offers a space to slow down and make sense of what’s happening. Together, we can clarify your current experience, explore how you got here, and begin to shape a healthier, more fulfilling path forward.

Hi, I'm Rebecca! I'm passionate about working with people who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, & overall transitional life challenges. If you want a life with less worry, anxiety, or hopelessness, we can work together to explore attainable goals to get you where you'd like to be. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive space for you to talk about your individual challenges & how you envision your ideal life worth living. I respect & encourage the individuality of every person's life story. We’ll work together to explore your potential for change & growth in a supportive & collaborative environment. I've worked with people struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, addiction, & people struggling with difficult life transitions. I treat couples, and have worked with couples struggling with addiction in their relationship. I have experience as a crisis & trauma counselor, particularly with people who've experienced sexual assault. Starting therapy can be the most intimidating part for many people. I hope to prevent that and to talk with you about your goals for therapy, and how you envision a life worth living. I focus on creating an engaging, open space for everyone, and to value & respect everyone's individuality. Reach out via email or phone with any questions you have!

My approach cultivates empowerment through compassionate support. I fully believe that within you, resides the inherent capacity to find your way through the most difficult of circumstances. It is my perspective however, that we often just need a bit of assistance in cultivating that path. While I work with clients on a variety of issues, my specialization is in treating chronic and complex PTSD through a somatic and attachment-focused lens. ADHD, nutrition/lifestyle change, body image and self-esteem are further treatment areas of niche interest. With more than 15 years of extensive career experience as a psychotherapist and in the field of behavioral health, I have come to one solid conclusion: The path toward healing is not so much about becoming anything. Often, it is about unbecoming everything that isn’t you, so that you can be who you were truly meant to be in the first place.
