“Of course it is exhausting, having to reason all the time in a universe which wasn't meant to be reasonable.” ― Kurt Vonnegut, Breakfast of Champions Hello! Thank you for taking some time to get to know me. As a social worker and therapist, I'm passionate about helping individuals find their path to well-being. My approach is grounded in a belief that each person is the expert in their own needs and abilities, and it is my role to provide the support needed to apply that knowledge. I have several years of therapy experience with adults and children, in addition to more than a decade working with children and families in other capacities. I’ve worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, facing a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, and relationship and family issues. My therapeutic style is flexible to your specific goals and needs, with elements from CBT, DBT, and Family Systems Theory. I'm committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without judgment. Together, we'll work to develop healthy coping strategies, foster positive relationships, and achieve personal fulfillment.

Charlie Health is a virtual behavioral health program for adolescents and young adults with moderate or severe mental health concerns or co-occurring substance use or eating disorders. Designed to meet the needs of those who require more than weekly therapy, our program combines curated group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy into personalized treatment programs. We are helping to serve those who are in crisis, or have been historically underserved, by eliminating the most significant treatment barriers: geographical and financial access. We work with nearly all commercial insurance nationwide and have no waitlist, thereby helping people access quality, evidence-based care regardless of insurance, location, or other barriers.
Therapy is an invitation to identify and gently question beliefs and perceived obstacles that stand in the way of our wellness, happiness and living our lives fully. Together we identify ways to make positive small shifts to clarify and work toward obtaining your best future. The desire to know and to be known is a normal human experience. I value the trauma-informed safety and client-centered connection we collaboratively create through a systematic lens. I am particularly sensitive to diversity in culture and self-identity, including with respect to race, gender and sexuality. I believe the importance of affirming the unique individual experience with cultural humility. Through compassion, sensitivity, and empowerment, we will work together respectfully to acknowledge vulnerability, unearth patterns, attend complexity, and gain ownership change to achieve the most authentic and expansive self. I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, life transition challenges, self-esteem, relationship issues including intimate partner violence, and immigration matter. I approach this work holistically with warmth, empathy, and ever developing curiosity. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first step towards change. It takes intentions to create the time and space to understand and explore ways to navigate the situation we are in. If you would like to explore what that looks like, I am here to support and empower you.
I work closely with individuals experiencing trauma concerns, relationship difficulties, and identity & self-esteem challenges. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Clients come to me seeking deeper self-understanding, more secure relationships, and a stronger sense of safety—both within themselves and in connection to others. You may find that past relationships and life experiences continue to shape how you see yourself, navigate relationships, set boundaries, or respond to stress. I use a psychodynamic, attachment-focused, and somatic-based approach. Utilizing trauma-informed care, I often focus on nervous system support and incorporate mind-body approaches. As a dance/movement therapist, I may also integrate movement when it aligns with someone's goals and comfort. Most importantly, I try to create a safe and collaborative environment where clients feel respected, heard, and empowered. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and others—so you can move toward the life you want with clarity and strength. Through my own personal experiences, I can relate to the unique pressures that can arise in immigrant and high-achieving families, including perfectionism, over-responsibility, and people-pleasing. I bring personal understanding of navigating multiple cultural influences while recognizing each person's unique experience. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, playing with my cat, and trying new restaurants.
