You are dealing with the impact of your past experiences, all while trying to keep it together and manage the stress of daily life. Although you want to heal so badly, you feel like you can never quite find a therapist that you can show your true, authentic self to. You may be dealing with anxious and depressed thoughts, relationship issues, traumatic memories resurfacing, or feelings of anger and resentment. You need a space where you can connect the puzzle pieces and find deep and meaningful compassion for yourself. My work is attachment-based, trauma informed, and relational in nature. This means that we won't just look at the symptoms you are experiencing, but also the world around you and how you have learned to survive in it. I will be there to guide you and help bring awareness to the patterns and ways of being that have helped you through these difficulties. If you have resonated with what you have read thus far, I welcome you to reach out! I offer afternoon and evening availability for adults and adolescents to best accommodate busy schedules. I work best with students who are motivated and thoughtful, but feel stuck—whether that’s struggling to focus, feeling overwhelmed by academic pressure, or wondering if ADHD, a learning difference, or anxiety might be part of the picture. I offer neuropsychological evaluations to help students understand how their brain works—clarifying strengths, challenges, and what may be getting in the way of learning or performance. These evaluations are often helpful for students seeking answers, clarity, or documentation for academic supports. I also provide CBT-based therapy, which focuses on practical tools to manage anxiety, stress, perfectionism, and unhelpful thinking patterns. Therapy is active and collaborative, and we work toward concrete changes that make daily life and school feel more manageable. If you’re looking for clearer answers about yourself and support that’s structured, practical, and grounded, I may be a good fit.
We are an association of therapists, each with a unique perspective and set of skills that are as individual as each of our clients. It is reasonable that not every Therapist is for you. With our team you have options to see who is the best fit for your needs. We implement a cognitive coaching style of effective psychotherapy which instills self-understanding and encourages adoption of new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. Therapy does not need to be a life long endeavor and we teach our clients the tools to help themselves. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the patient and caretaker alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.

Having worked in the field of mental health for over 10 years, my expertise lies in confidence, self worth and self esteem skill building, anxiety and stress management and support with life transitions. People can experience dark days at times, where the future feels uncertain, and everyday routines become difficult. Perhaps you feel stuck in what seems like an endless cycle of anxiety or depression, need to experience healing from past hurts or traumas, or are experiencing a painful life transition. Many people have insight into their problems, but struggle to find the ability to get “unstuck.” My desire is to help you find a new path, break down old habits, and discover new tools to cope. I have worked in the field of counseling for over ten years, helping people of various ages and backgrounds.
Therapy is a great tool to explore how your past experiences and early relationships influence your current relationships, symptoms of anxiety, depression, and how you navigate and process feelings. I truly believe the relational component to therapy (relationship between therapist and patient) can bring to light reactions, feelings, and patterns that show up outside of the therapy space. With this, you can begin to gain insight into how these experiences make you feel and make changes that align with your wants and needs. My hope is to create a collaborative, non-judgmental and validating space to allow for exploration of concerns and enable growth. I encourage you to contact me so we can begin to explore what is holding you back from living a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
I specialize in working with folks who are curious about or identify as neurodivergent neurospicy, on the spectrum, and/or autistic (especially those who learned of this identify in adulthood), who are looking for support in processing their experiences and/or the trauma and grief that can sometimes accompany being neurodivergent in a world set up for neurotypical people. Being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world can be incredibly draining often leading to burnout with no societal accommodations to recover from that burnout. One might be left feeling less than, othered, like a failure, or broken somehow and don't know why. You are not broken. Here you can cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself in the context of neurodiversity, give yourself space to feel and heal from any harmful messages, and learn how show up in life with a deeper sense of self love and acceptance. I have 20+ years of experience in the mental health field and 7 in my private practice. I believe in deep listening, non-judgmental compassion and empathy. I want to get to know your unique experience in the world and tailor our sessions to the type of support you need. My goal is to learn about you, understand you, and help you grow without forgetting the value you bring to the world just as you are.

Do emotions take over and exhaust you? Have people marveled at how resilient you are or mentioned your sensitivity as a liability? Maybe you sometimes wonder if you’re the only one who is seeing the hurt and pain all around. It’s likely you have figured out how to adapt to what the world wants you to be. You present the part of yourself that is widely accepted by your community and our social systems, but what about the rest of YOU? We always hear that college is the best days of our lives, but it is also a time a self discovery. That discovery process can be painful, and I can help. I guide young adults to connect to their inherent worth, power, and self-compassion. I work collaboratively with clients and draw from an expansive toolbox including body-oriented practices, talk therapy, and expressive arts. I am well suited to work with clients who are interested in mindfulness meditation and other body-based exercises to be the center of their therapeutic experience. My scope of practice includes anxiety, grief, burn-out, persistent depression, relational stressors, survivors of sexual trauma, and those navigating life as an artist. I align with clients whose identities and values defy society's conventional norms. My practice is trauma-informed, and I am dedicated to an anti-oppression, anti-racist, body positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming and equitable lens.

Going to college may feel like it is supposed to be one of the most exciting times in your life. Leaving home, starting an independent life and creating connections with people from all over the world sounds great, right? But, it is also one of the more challenging times in life from a developmental stance. Family relations feel different, making friends can be challenging in a larger setting, academics are rigorous and there is a struggle to know who you 'really are.' On top of that, differences between you and others on identity dimensions can have you re-examining where you fit into the larger world around you. I am here to help guide you through this time so that you can work through unpleasant feelings while simultaneously feeling more confident in the person you are becoming and wish to be.
