As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, I specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults through life’s transitions, emotional challenges, and identity development. My practice blends evidence-based modalities—including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness—with a relational, strengths-based approach that meets clients where they are. I’ve worked extensively with young adults navigating anxiety, grief, academic pressure, and family dynamics, and I bring that same attuned, developmentally informed lens to my work with college students. Whether clients are adjusting to campus life, managing mental health concerns, or exploring their values and goals, I offer a safe, inclusive space for healing and growth. Life is hard! I get it, and more importantly, I get you. Therapy doesn't have to be hard. Sometimes you just need some extra set of eyes on your life with genuine concern and wide expertise. What type of clients found the most success with you thus far? Therapy doesn't work like that with me. Counseling is a personal process. But if you're willing to be goal set, grow, and experience counseling in a non-"bad and bougie" sort of way. Then come check me out!!!!
You're probably here because there is a part of you that knows you were created for more. You were made for deeper connections, more freedom and laughter, a greater sense of purpose and fullness of life. Life is hard. And somewhere along the way we begin relating to ourselves and others from a place of fear and woundedness. We numb ourselves, make ourselves small, and hide the parts that we fear will be rejected. We get stuck in patterns of feeling unlovable, unworthy, afraid, and disconnected from joy. Therapy can help you realign with your true self and find compassion and healing for the parts that feel stuck.

Full Intentions is a therapy and movement practice that works at the intersection of mental health, identity, and the body. Most of the people who find us are carrying more than they talk about stress, anxiety, trauma, burnout, emotional numbness, impulsive patterns, or the pressure to keep it together for everyone else. We don’t rush your healing or ask you to “just think differently.” We help you slow down, understand what your nervous system is holding, and learn how to move with your emotions instead of against them. We work with trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, relationship patterns, life transitions, self-worth, and nervous system dysregulation. Many of our clients are athletes and high performers who were taught to be strong before they were taught to be supported. No matter where you are starting from, you don’t have to do this alone. We’ll help you reconnect to yourself with intention, presence, and care. Reach out and we’ll match you with a clinician who best fits your needs.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and personalized medication management, both in-person and virtually, with a focus on empowering my patients to thrive in all areas of life.
I work with people who are self-introspective and who want to learn more about who they and who they are becoming. I focus on grief and loss, life transition, anxiety, depression, and past or current trauma.

With experience helping clients who have endured traumatic events and those managing anxiety and depression, I provide a safe and understanding space for healing and growth. Committed to fostering resilience and empowerment, I tailor my approach to meet each person's goals and aspirations. I take a warm and empathetic approach to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your emotions, build self-awareness, and foster personal growth. Whether you're facing challenges like anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, or life transitions, I am here to listen, support, and empower you to create meaningful and positive changes in your life. In our sessions, you can expect to gain a deeper understanding of your life experiences and how they have impacted you. I work with people navigating change, whether that’s figuring out adulthood, starting a family, or finding your footing in a new season of life. I also support neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodiversity, who are learning how to honor their unique ways of thinking, feeling, and being in the world. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, supported, and confident as you move through whatever’s next. Clients describe me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. Our sessions are a space to slow down, reflect, and explore what really matters to you. We’ll work together to make sense of what’s been feeling heavy and uncover new ways to move forward. You can expect a comfortable, judgment-free space to talk about what’s been on your mind. We’ll focus on what’s most important to you, and my hope is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and a little more at ease about where you’re headed.

The clients I see are sometimes in college experiencing feelings of overwhelm or feeling low. These clients describe their challenges as feeling, “como con miedo,” and also, “no se que tengo.” Other clients I see are future counselors who are at the beginning of their careers and facing imposter syndrome ( “I must’ve slipped through the cracks to get to where I am now”), self-criticism (“Why can’t I get my life together!"), or burnout (feeling fatigued and like you can never catch up). These clients are usually part of activist movements or workplaces and I believe in helping the healers that are out in the world making a positive impact on society. I benefited greatly from my own experiences with counseling when I was in grad school (still do) and I hope to provide the same non-judgmental opportunities to cry or laugh or both to future clients. In my work I value humility, curiosity, self-compassion and humor. I believe these are needed to provide authenticity and support at a time when people starting out in their fields of work are taking in new information that is stretching/challenging perspectives and care for the self is a necessity to continue doing challenging work.

Araceli is trained in both Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), evidence-based approaches that help people better understand and work with chronic conditions such as chronic (unexplained) pain, anxiety, migraines, dizziness/vertigo, IBS, tinnitus, fatigue, brain fog and other stress-related symptoms. These therapies help patients relate to symptoms in a new way—by reducing fear, strengthening the mind-body connection, processing difficult emotions, and helping the brain “unlearn” the patterns that keep symptoms stuck. Araceli’s work focuses on supporting individuals living with chronic conditions to feel safer in their bodies, more emotionally connected, and more empowered in their healing.
