Anxiety, depression, college stress getting in the way of academics. I help college students figure out how to navigate college life for more peace!
Most of the clients I work best with have one thing in common: they feel overwhelmed by the pressure to “have it all together,” especially around food, body image, and big life transitions. Many of them are students who look fine on the outside but are quietly struggling with anxiety, burnout, or feeling disconnected from their bodies. I often work with people who: Feel guilty or stressed about eating and don’t know how to break the cycle Overthink food choices or feel “out of control” around food Are adjusting to a big life change (moving away from home, starting college, pregnancy/postpartum, major stress) Carry a lot of self-criticism and feel exhausted from trying to meet everyone’s expectations Want a space where they can be honest without feeling judged or misunderstood My clients tend to be caring, hard-working, sensitive, and often the “strong one” in their friend group. They’re usually trying to balance school, relationships, and their own mental health—often without giving themselves the same compassion they give others. If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place. My goal is to make therapy feel like a safe, steady place where you can slow down, understand what’s going on underneath the stress, and feel more connected to yourself again.
Our therapists are well acquainted with the struggles that come with pursuing higher education. Maybe you are just starting out and leaving home for the first time. Maybe you have a job, family, and have recently added school to your normal juggling routine. The students that we work with are often times struggling with the demands of their academic, social, and familial responsibilities. It is easy to get overwhelmed, that's where we come in. Our therapists can help you to slow things down so that you can process them in a healthy way that leaves you feeling confident in finding the life balance you are looking for.
Feeling stressed, stuck, or just plain overwhelmed? Let’s talk (no couch required!). I believe that finding a therapist who is the right fit for you is the most important part of the process. If you’re looking to heal from traumatic experiences, explore your interpersonal relationships, and clarify your life’s values, I might be the right fit for you. I have been trained in a range of evidence-based, short and long term trauma and depression therapy approaches.
Most of the students I work with are figuring out who they are while juggling school, family, friendships, and their future. Many feel the weight of being “the strong one” for everyone else, but behind closed doors they’re tired, anxious, or questioning if they’re enough. Some are navigating being away from home for the first time, carrying family expectations, or balancing the pressure to succeed with the need to just breathe. Others feel out of place on campus and want a space where they don’t have to explain themselves or code-switch. I connect best with young people under 25 who are ready for honest conversations, who value a therapist that will both listen deeply and challenge them to grow. My goal is to give you room to unpack your story, understand your emotions, and figure out how to move through stress, relationships, and identity with more clarity and confidence.

Hello! I am a proud Hispanic Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the social service field and 3 years practicing therapy. I’m also certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and I’m passionate about providing support that is compassionate, practical, and culturally grounded. Mental health is essential for everyone, and I believe it holds a special importance within the Hispanic community where stigma can sometimes make seeking help difficult. Throughout life, we are constantly growing, changing, and evolving. Navigating these transitions can bring about uncomfortable feelings or challenge us to learn something new about ourselves. You may be a young adult learning how to live independently, a new parent, trying to start a family, looking for a career change, or just wanting to improve your current relationships. No matter what stage of life you are in, you are brave to look for support and I am glad you’re here. I believe working through and processing difficulties can bring hope, healing, and ultimately growth. I work to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space and to collaborate with clients helping them find their identity, their strengths, their passions and help to understand their value so that they reach their therapeutic goals. Ultimately my hope is that my clients, regardless of age, will reach a level of self-acceptance where they feel empowered and lead fulfilling lives with meaningful relationships.

Welcome! I provide telehealth mental health care across Texas for teens and adults, supporting clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, and other emotional or behavioral challenges. My approach is holistic, collaborative, and evidence-based, combining medication management with CBT-informed strategies to meet your goals. In a compassionate, non-judgmental space, we work together to build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen resilience. Whether you’re seeking support for specific symptoms or guidance in navigating life’s challenges, my goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and supported on your journey toward emotional well-being.
It cannot be overstated what a big deal it is that you have begun to explore finding support for yourself. This first step is one of the hardest. I’d be honored to be a resource for you during this time, and accompany you as you grow and change. The majority of my clients are high achievers of all stripes, from Ivy League students to folks attending competitive conservatories and art schools. I was a performing artist (actor, singer, musician) for 12 years in New York City before changing careers, and I specialize in working with folks who have creative identities. Many of my clients are LGBTQ+ and/or neurodivergent, and most also find themselves in overfunctioning/underfunctioning dynamics in their relationships. My main therapy modality is Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as somatic mindfulness-based therapy (Hakomi), and experiential therapy (gestalt). Basically this means that, in therapy, I will support you in getting more familiar with your internal system by helping you track what’s happening in your mind, your body, and between you and I (the therapist and the client). I’ll also guide you towards deepening your relationship with the different “parts” of your system, learning their agendas and desires, which sometimes produce inner conflicts and create stuckness. It’s well-known that being mindful of your body and breath is a great way to reduce stress, and using this practice as real situations arise in therapy will give you a practical way to use it in your day-to-day. As you get to know your system better, you will build greater trust within yourself, allowing for stuck parts to shift and for real lasting change to occur. If you’ve been in therapy before and it just felt like venting, IFS will be different. Pro tip: the research suggests that the therapy modality you use is less important than a trusting relationship with your therapist as far as positive therapy outcomes (though I will happily talk IFS theory for days). Do your best to go with your gut feeling about who intuitively feels right when choosing a therapist, even if right now might be the hardest time to do so. If something about my practice resonates, please reach out and schedule a consultation! I look forward to hearing from you soon!
I view my role as a therapist much like that of a guide as well as a teacher. I work to help clients build and maintain the necessary tools they already have existing within themselves and lead clients to new discoveries of living life in a more balanced way. Through utilizing existing tools, as well as learning new possibilities of living, clients are able to reach their full potential for prolonged success. The foundational approaches I choose to work from are person centered, and mindfulness based. I also utilize experiential forms of therapy. I specialize in working with life transitions, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance abuse/addiction, spiritual identity, and helping to develop coping mechanisms/tools to reduce stress. I work with both men and women, young adults, and adults. Finding the right counselor can be a difficult process. I want to make sure we are going to be a good fit and that's why I offer a free 15min initial phone consultation. I look forward to working with you.
