We are located on a 43-acre campus in beautiful Estes Park, CO where we try and utilize our backyard as much as possible. Additionally, we offer virtual IOP in the mornings and evenings for commercial insurances only. Harmony Recovery is in-network with most major insurance companies including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, ComPsych, UCHealth, Humana, Poudre School District, Optum, United Health, Kaiser, Medicaid, Multiplan, PHCS, Mines, Rocky Mtn Health Plans and many more. During the client’s stay in our residential care, they will benefit from 24-hour attention provided by highly skilled staff, ensuring comprehensive clinical, medical, and spiritual support. Individualized treatment is based on each client’s personal goals and preferences, level of motivation, co-occurring mental health, medical, and spiritual needs. The residential addiction treatment program consists of men’s and women’s tracks. These tracks conducted separately, with men and women living and receiving treatment in separate facilities. This allows us to address the underlying issues that affect each differently that contribute to the disease of addiction. Mornings focus on group-based cognitive behavioral therapy, leveraging the outdoors as often as possible. Daily hikes along our “12 Step” Trail are normal, while afternoons are set aside for educational offerings. Individually, clients meet weekly with a primary therapist and a case manager. Additional services are available as well, such as specialty groups for 12 Step, Trauma, and Co-Occurring Disorders. Clients diagnosed with mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, and other trauma-related responses, meet with appropriate staff. Clinical staff work with clients to teach healthy coping skills while the medical team provide medication management.

I have been in private practice for 20 years, with my specialty focusing on individuals resolving historic traumas and women balancing all of the complications of womanhood in a fast paced, demanding world. In all of my therapeutic work I talk about "traumas". Traumas can be events or messages we internalize about ourselves from the past. Traumas can be brilliantly adaptive: helping us to become incredible, impressive humans. Our traumas can also hold us back in many ways that may be limiting our happiness: the other side of the proverbial coin.

We all want to be loved and experience pleasure, but getting there can be difficult in the culture of perfectionism we live in. This perfectionism shows up everywhere and results in thinking you need to look like a model in order to get a partner, trying to be good at everything, and goal-oriented sex that is more focused on performance than pleasure. Instead of feeling sexy, people feel stressed, lonely, inadequate, and guilty. I work with people who want to feel confident and sexy, have a healthy relationship/s with someone/s who is there for them, be able to communicate clearly, stand up for themselves, and have mind-blowing sex. I’ve worked in sexuality for 10 years, helping college students whose sex life is struggling. I help people of all genders & sexualities have less fear & anxiety, more confidence, stronger relationships, and better sex. My clients get good at connecting with themselves & their partners, moving past toxic patterns, & having open conversations. You’re not broken, even if it feels like it. I know what it’s like to feel lost when it comes to sex and relationships, not have healthy role models, feel like you have to figure it all out yourself, be judged unfairly, and be so focused on performance and being perfect that you miss out on pleasure. But all that can change. You deserve love--and hot sex.

I provide a grounded, sacred energy during sessions that can help to connect with this wisdom. I enjoy using therapeutic techniques such as: inner child work, images, symbolism, dreamwork, energy work and expressive arts.

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. For the “weirdos,” “misfits,” seekers and dreamers. Those who feel invisible, not enough, alone or like you are not able to be fully you and still be loved. The people who find solace in books and music, and intimate conversations. Who deeply feel there is something more or a better world possible. For people who feel both at home and alone in solitude. You’re not wrong for holding contradictions and it makes sense if the world feels at times both too heavy to bear and so full of magic and wonder. Have you been told that the way you experience the world is "too much" or you are "too sensitive?" Maybe you feel like you have a breadth of awareness and understanding but don't experience the solace you are longing for. Or that you have had to hide parts of yourself to belong, only to feel more disconnected. Imagine a life where you feel connected, alive and able to embrace the fullness and vastness of who you are. Where your energy can move towards things outside of the performance of being acceptable. I view therapy as quiet work; where the small and sometimes big shifts, hold the power to change what is possible for all of us. I will be with you as you gain clarity around your own wisdom and knowing; deconstruct the unhelpful stories you hold about yourself; and I will always sit with you through discomfort, dis-ease, celebration and joy. I work from modalities and techniques that are rooted in story telling and visualization (Narrative, IFS); and body based awareness and nervous system regulation (Somatic).

I believe in a therapeutic process that is collaborative and flexible — meeting my clients where they are to foster meaningful growth and change. I approach therapy with warmth, compassion, and honest reflection to create a non-judgmental space for self-exploration. I am passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing emotional struggles, low self-esteem, transitional issues, and attachment injuries. My aim is to collaboratively help you understand patterns in which you feel stuck, find relief from narratives that are no longer yours, and learn how to move towards your goals. I am a graduate of Columbia’s School of Social Work and have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). I am intensively trained in working with body image issues and disordered eating. My style is warm, genuine, and non-judgmental while providing transparent feedback throughout the therapeutic process to maximize emotional growth and healing. I work as a supportive and collaborative partner with each of my clients to find and achieve long-term solutions.

Sometimes, folx are concerned that their therapist is going to make them lie on a couch while they say nondescript and cryptic things like "hmmm" and "I see" and "how does that make you feel?" While I do ask the last question, I can promise that the therapy I provide is not that of the 1920s. I believe that you are the best expert on yourself and my role as your therapist is to help you uncover what you already know and put it into action. Reaching out to a therapist can be scary, but I hope you'll take that moment - perhaps after a few deep breaths - to give it a shot. You deserve the best care available to you from someone who gets it and truly enjoys the work that I do. I love my job and approach each session with an open mind and heart and a deep desire to walk alongside you as we meet your challenges together. I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community (of which I am a part) as well as individuals and relationship partners who are navigating anxiety, sexuality, trauma, family conflict, and identity stress. After 10+ years of experience working in the field, I am uniquely qualified to understand many of the challenges and difficulties affiliated with finding balance and living authentically in this world.
