As a therapist, my goal is to walk alongside my clients in their path towards growth and healing. I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image and sexuality related issues. I am also a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and I'm passionate about supporting clients in combatting the influence of diet culture on their relationship to food. I am sex-positive and HAES-aligned. I believe that therapy is an incredible opportunity to learn about yourself and your life story in a safe, accepting and non-judgemental environment. Together, we will work towards meeting your goals and developing the life and relationships you strive for.
Our experienced therapists deliver evidence-based treatments to adolescents and adults suffering from eating disorders, anxiety, and related disorders. Our approach is largely behavioral and we offer tailored treatment approaches based on a thorough assessment of client’s presenting concerns. To target anxiety and OCD, I use a range of ERP, ACT, CBT, and solution focused interventions, as well as HRT for body focused repetitive behaviors (skin picking and hair pulling).

At RISE Wellness & Therapy, PLLC our philosophy is to believe in you when you have difficulty believing in yourself and to hold on to hope until you can hold it on your own. Following a strength based, relational model we believe that you are the expert in your life and through the therapeutic relationship you have the opportunity to create a healing experience. Now, therapy may not always be easy, but it will be intentional. Just like all relationships, it will be imperfect, but it will be a safe and accepting place for you to explore how to become the version of yourself you want to be. Much like the phoenix, you can rise from the ashes renewed, and ready to raise your possibilities.

You’ve been carrying a lot for a long time—maybe the impact of childhood trauma, complicated relationships, or anxiety and shame that seem to live in your body as much as your thoughts. On the outside you may appear high-functioning and capable, but inside things can feel overwhelming. Many of my clients grew up navigating emotionally unpredictable families, painful relationships, or environments where they learned to minimize their own needs to keep the peace. They want more than coping—they want to feel safer in their body, understand their patterns, and finally experience relief from the past. I integrate EMDR, art therapy, somatic approaches, and insight-oriented talk therapy to support healing in both mind and nervous system. Drawing from parts work and trauma-informed care, we move at a pace that respects your story while helping you reconnect with emotions, build inner safety, and process experiences that feel stuck. Reaching out for therapy takes courage—especially if you’re used to handling everything on your own. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating anxiety or depression, or trying to feel safer in your own body, you deserve a space where all parts of you are welcome. When you're ready, I’m here.
Things may feel heavy right now, and as a younger person trying to make sense of it all, it is no surprise you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Between social expectations and constant news cycles, you may be unsure of your next step. We specialize in supporting teens and twenty-somethings who are navigating anxiety, depression, school stress, relationship challenges, and the “What am I doing?” moments that show up during significant transitions. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I also work closely with clients exploring their identities, including the overarching systems and pressures we navigate. Our experience as high school social workers informs my work with neurodivergent clients, making the complex feel practical by incorporating evidence and body-based practices. With humor, honesty, and a touch of sarcasm, we will identify patterns, strengths, and values to create tools that complement your life. Your story is worth telling, and so is the chance to reconnect with yourself through thoughtful reflection and action. At The Kedzie Center, we aim to provide a safe space, by providing confidential and empathic care. Within this frame, therapy is guided by the initial concern that prompted the individual or family to seek treatment. Areas of concern may include emotional distress, relationship issues, work or employment stress, grief and loss, major life transitions, adjustment issues, behavior problems, acculturative stress, and exposure to trauma, abuse or violence. Therapy can be brief in nature, allowing for an exploration and resolution of the presenting concern. Treatment can also be long-term, with a greater focus on seeking to understand the internal and interpersonal dynamics at play in one’s life. How therapy is structured and scheduled is part of the ongoing collaboration between therapist and client. Based on an initial assessment, recommendations are made for individual, family and group therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Services are available in both English and Spanish at this time.

We’ll foster self-compassion and explore new ways of relating to your thoughts. By building confidence in your ability to tolerate discomfort, you can reconnect with what matters most and move toward a meaningful, fulfilling life. I specialize in treating OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and anxiety disorders. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m passionate about supporting queer clients.
