We are a thriving DBT practice that works with teens and young adults to skillfully manage the strong emotions that they find overwhelming or interfere with their ability to function effectively in their lives. We offer group and individual therapy services. We would consider virtual (telehealth) services if a person has already had DBT and is seeking support to maintain gains. Another service we offer is psychological assessment, which is provided to help clarify mental health diagnoses, to learn more about what is getting in the way of treatment progress, or to take a deeper dive into how someone's personality is constructed. (This is different from neuropsych assessment.)

Life can feel like a roller coaster full of twists and turns. You may lose track of your goals and rely on unhealthy coping skills to help you, including over/under eating, excessive exercise, self-deprecation, doubt, isolation, irritability, over-thinking, increased impulsivity...the list goes on. During these times you may experience tough transitions ranging from the loss of a loved one, sudden change in career and/or relocation, acculturation challenges and/or traumatic experiences that result in confusion, pain and other emotions you may feel flooded with. I am here to help you process and make sense of your ride. For the last 12+ years I have helped my clients feel confident and self-assured. I use various talk and expressive therapy modalities, to assist others in unmasking the complex layers of their experiences and emotions to embrace their inner strength, leadership and uniqueness. I confidently feel that you deserve to be the best version of you at all times. Whether this be your first time in therapy or not I encourage you to take the leap and allow me to help you achieve your goals. College can feel like a mix of excitement and pressure all at once. Between academics, relationships, figuring out who you are, and trying to keep up with everything, it’s really easy to feel overwhelmed, anxious, or like you’re just barely holding it together. In therapy, I try to create a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. We slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and work together to find ways to feel more grounded and more like yourself again. I really believe people already have strengths in them, even if it doesn’t feel accessible in the moment. My job is to help you reconnect with those strengths and figure out how to use them in real life, especially during stressful or confusing seasons. I work with college students and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma, and big life transitions. I use approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and body-based (somatic) work to help you understand what you’re feeling and actually shift it in a practical, supportive way. My fee for a 50-minute session is $180. I also offer a limited number of sliding scale spots ($90–$100) to help make therapy more accessible.
