I specialize in working with patients who struggle with mood disorders, safety concerns, college transition, learning challenges, social skill challenges, grief/separation, and anger challenges. I provide integrated, wrap-around MMT care for my clients, and their parents/caregivers, helping facilitate an understanding of their behavioral/learning challenges. As a social worker, my focus extends beyond individual therapy sessions—I actively facilitate communication and collaboration between multiple parties involved, ensuring the best support for my clients. My goal is to empower young individuals to overcome challenges, foster personal growth, and thrive academically and personally.
I provide trauma informed LGBTQIA and neurodivergent affirming therapy to young adults in person in Stoneham, Massachusetts, and virtually across all of Massachusetts. Those who work with me are often looking to better understand themselves and the world around them. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQ community, with a particular interest in assisting young adults on their self-discovery and identity journeys. I also provide neurodivergent affirming therapy to autistic adults struggling with mental health symptoms related to the challenges of fitting into a neurotypical world.

I work very well with young people who are struggling to adapt to college or grad school, either socially or academically. I am able to diagnose ADHD and create treatment strategies. I also work very well with students who are struggling to differentiate from their parents or families. Sometimes this look like anxiety or depression, but it can have its roots in dysfunctional family systems. I am good at working with you to identify what you grew up with vs what you need now. I am in training as a sex therapist with a focus on how to get pleasure from sexual intimacy. I like to support sex workers, and can also attend to gaps in sexual functioning.

Despite years of self work and therapy, is something still not right? Can you feel it in your body that your nervous system is not functioning in the way that you need? Working together I can help reacquaint yourself with your body and it's signals, learn how to listen to it's cues, care for the nervous system and whole self. We can discover the root of your suffering and find ways through it, so you feel more calm and more engaged. We may also use EMDR to reprocess traumatic experiences. EMDR helps facilitate conditions that allow your body and brain's natural ability to heal to prevail. Do you feel like others in the world are suffering more than you, that you shouldn’t ask for more? I will help you work through these doubts and hesitations to discover how you can truly live a life that is aligned with who you are, guilt-free. It's possible for you to live more in the present and feel empowered in your life. Our work will help you feel more connected to yourself, the people in your life and the world around you. You will better understand your life experiences, stresses and anxieties to learn to live with all parts of who you are in better harmony.
I tend to work best with students who are struggling with relationships, attachment, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with notice patterns in their relationships feeling anxious, overthinking, fearing abandonment, homesick or feeling like they give more than they receive. Others may be going through changes in friendships, family dynamics, dating, or figuring out who they are and what they want. College and young adulthood can bring a lot of change, and sometimes those transitions can bring up deeper emotions or past experiences that affect how we connect with others. In therapy, I focus on creating a space where you can be open and honest without feeling judged. Together we explore relationship patterns, emotional responses, and what might be underneath them. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build healthier relationships, set boundaries, and feel more confident navigating change.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over ten years of experience. My areas of specialty include: depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, conflicts around cultural identity, life transitions, and academic and career struggles. I am particularly interested in helping clients who face conflicts around their race, culture, and identity. At Northwestern, I trained in psychodynamic and dialectical behavioral therapy and published several research papers on juvenile detainees and violence in persons with severe mental illness in peer-reviewed journals. I completed my internship at the Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY where I treated adolescents, families, and adults in outpatient clinics, a Psychiatric Emergency Room, and on an adult inpatient unit. Afterward, I worked as an individual and group psychotherapist and clinical supervisor at the counseling center at Fordham University in the Bronx, NY. At Fordham, I was also the outreach coordinator in which I regularly interacted with marginalized students on campus.
