Many of us struggle in silence to overcome the challenges we face, but you no longer have to face that battle alone. While the first step is acknowledging the change you need, it takes courage to recognize you need some guidance. It takes even more courage to initiate those first steps towards improving your life. I am a mental health therapist passionate about serving others through some of the darkest periods of their lives. I empower my clients battling issues related to anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harming behavior, trauma, emotional regulation, difficulties with stress, anger management, relationship problems, and many more. I consider the work I do a privilege. I look forward to beginning the journey of assisting clients in becoming not who they were before, but a new, integrated, and improved version of themselves. Are you ready to embark on this adventure together?

Hi there! I am a warm, creative and down-to-earth therapist who loves to help young adults navigate the often confusing and overwhelming experiences of college life, including issues related to academics, interpersonal relationships, gender identity, healthy sexuality, depression, and anxiety. (Not a complete list, by any means, but you get the drift!) If you are struggling with feelings of isolation and are having difficulty keeping up with your coursework, I can help you figure out how to navigate, starting from exactly where you are right now! I will provide a supportive ear and common-sense, actionable strategies to help you feel better. I am licensed to work with folks in South Carolina and Massachusetts, all via telehealth. I'm here when you're ready!

I am a Harvard-trained and affiliated clinical psychologist with a practice in Concord, Massachusetts. I have practiced in Boston and have worked with many college and graduate students over the years. Offering both in-person and virtual appointments, I work with adults of all ages struggling with relationships or family difficulties, depression and anxiety, adjusting to new environments or life situations, grief, identity, and other issues. My approach has an emphasis on insight-oriented ("talk") therapy, but I use cognitive and emotion regulation approaches as well, tailored to what you need. I also offer single session therapy appointments. Please see my website for more information. Seeking therapy can be stressful and confusing. Please contact me with any questions. *Please note: I offer a reduced fee for college and graduate students*

While we may not always have control over all aspects of our lives, we have control over how we choose to react, how we make meaning of our situation, and most importantly how we grow from the challenges presented to us. I work with adults throughout the lifespan, from young adults to older adults, in an individual and group therapy setting. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, identity development, life transitions, and navigating relationships. I love working with clients who recognize the need for change in their lives and are motivated to work towards bettering their relationship with themselves and others. I utilize both psychodynamic (how the past influences the present) and interpersonal approaches (how relational patterns impact psychological well-being) to therapy. In addition, I also borrow from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)/Mindfulness to help build healthy coping strategies. I do not believe in a one size fits all therapy, but I do believe in two necessary factors: hope and a strong therapeutic relationship. Hope ignites the courage to take the first step towards change and the therapeutic relationship is the vessel in which the journey towards change takes place.

I love working with college students and young adults. I understand what a complex and sometimes overwhelming time of life this can be; whether you find yourself struggling with anxiety, depression, or difficulty navigating your relationships, I am truly passionate about supporting my clients in their process to gain deeper self-understanding and foster personal growth through self-compassion. I work from a place of genuine curiosity and respect each person’s path as unique. I take a warm, supportive, and collaborative approach, using the information that you present (or, in some cases, avoid) to help you make sense of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be undermining your relationships and productivity.

You’re thoughtful, capable, and often the one others rely on—but inside, you may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained. Many of my clients struggle with overgiving, difficulty setting boundaries, relationship stress, or burnout. I help you understand your patterns, strengthen your voice, and build healthier, more balanced relationships so you can feel grounded, respected, and more like yourself again. I specialize in helping high-functioning adults navigate anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. Using a trauma-informed, integrative approach (CBT, DBT, EMDR), I support you in setting boundaries, regulating emotions, and creating healthier patterns in your life and relationships. You don’t have to carry everything on your own. If you’re ready to feel more supported, clear, and emotionally grounded, therapy can help you move forward with confidence and intention. I’d be honored to support you in this next chapter. My mission is to help people heal, grow and thrive - so they can achieve their goals and improve their lives. **Weekday, Evening and Weekend Appointments Available** **Now seeing clients in Massachusetts and New Mexico** Are you caught up in a seemingly endless cycle of addiction to alcohol or drugs? Well, I have good news and bad news for you. Let’s start with the bad news: it takes significant effort to stop addictive behaviors, and to address the underlying emotional or trauma issues that compel you to relapse over and over again. There’s no magic wand, no Abracadabra. Now the good news: The cycle doesn’t have to be endless. Recovery is possible! I have 25 years experience working in the addictions and mental health treatment field--in settings ranging from group homes to treatment centers. I authored a workbook on Mindfulness-Based Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. I also specialize in teaching coping skills for trauma and emotions that tend to drive us back to our addictive behaviors. My approach is eclectic, client-centered, empathic, and goal-directed. I can help you chart a path to sobriety and wellness, and to begin to address the underlying reasons behind self-defeating behaviors or troubling emotions in the here and now. I offer virtual appointments.
