Hello! Are you finding that college isn't quite what you thought it would be? I get it...it's a tough transition and a steep learning curve. Anxiety, homesickness, some grief, comparison, high expectations, new ways of communicating, living on your own, conflict with roommates, and that might only describe the first semester! There are then decisions to make about your interests, to study abroad or not, where to intern, what organizations and extracurriculars to get involved in, feeling too stretched for time and unable to manage all responsibilities well, the stress of a job or your athletic demands. You don't have to navigate this alone––I can help! I specialize in helping students navigate these issues and more through a lens of self-compassion, skill-building, and a sense of empowerment. These issues are not unique to you and you can learn to build resilience and tools that will help you now and in your future.

Hello and welcome! I’m Chelsea, a second-year Master’s student in Clinical Social Work at Columbia University, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communication from Wake Forest University. My pronouns are she/her. My work focuses on areas such as self-care, life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. As I work towards my LCSW license and plan to open my own practice, my primary goal is to provide a warm and accepting space where you feel genuinely supported. In our sessions, I use a blend of psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, client-centered approaches, and DBT to tailor our work to your individual needs. I am committed to creating an environment where you feel truly heard and respected as we navigate your emotions and experiences together. I understand that reaching out for support takes courage, and I am here to empower you as we develop coping skills, discuss your experiences, and work through life’s challenges. Hey there! I provide virtual therapy for adults navigating OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and depressive symptoms - many of whom are unpacking intimacy, identity, and religious trauma. My approach is affirming, and grounded in empowerment. I'm LGBTQ+ friendly and deeply anti-judgment. I meet you where you are, not where you think you should be. Together, we challenge shame and rigid beliefs while building insight, autonomy, and self trust so life can feel more authentic and connected. Whether you are seeking relief from emotional distress, healing from past experiences, or finding a deeper connection with your authentic self, I am dedicated to come alongside you on your journey toward growth and well-being. Sessions are collaborative, gentle, and focused on both symptom relief and deeper insight. Clients often describe our work as calming, clarifying, and real. My goal is to offer a therapeutic space where you feel safe to show up fully, without judgment, and explore what healing looks like for you. Therapy isn’t about 'fixing' you. It’s about supporting the version of you that’s already trying to grow.

I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults on issues such as depression, anxiety, relationships, life transitions, self-esteem, and grief. I typically use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy strategies when working with clients. My therapeutic alliance with clients is one of unconditional positive regard and acceptance. I encourage clients to use their therapy sessions to focus on themselves and their needs at that time. Together, we will develop a plan to address whatever issues are keeping them stuck in an uncomfortable place.
Everyone is responsible for protecting and nurturing their mental health. Navigating through difficult life experiences can manifest stress, unhappiness, anxiety, anger, etc. Sometimes, we develop harmful ways to cope with these life experiences such as isolating ourselves, lashing out at others, abusing substances, among other things. It can be difficult to take the first step and reach out for therapy/counseling. However, taking that first step means that you're prepared to figure out how you can improve your circumstance and move forward. It's my mission to offer you support through your process of achieving mental wellness!
My clients often say that they feel seen and heard by me. I am able to provide effective feedback and interventions that feel accessible to them. My approach is more conversational and relaxed as I follow the lead of my client. I weave in evidence based approaches in a way that feels more casual. I feel this approach helps with trust building. I approach our work together with a collaborative mindset. You are the expert of your life story and I am here to help you reach your goals and potential by guiding you thru the blockages and issues that you feel are holding you back.

Hello! I am an LCMHC who has been in this field for a little over 20 years. Do you want to improve the quality of your life? Do you want to make long-lasting changes that improve areas of your life such as work and relationships? I empower clients to overcome the daily challenges of dealing with such issues as depression (or other mood disorders), anxiety, PTSD/Trauma, and grief. . I do believe in a holistic approach that focuses on the mind-body-spirit connection. I utilize various techniques that include mindfulness, helping you identify and address irrational thoughts, motivational interviewing and more. I work with clients to identify treatment goals at their 1st appointment, if possible and I also like to assign therapeutic "homework" since this helps clients practice and eventually acquire the skills they need to feel better about themselves and their lives. No matter the issue, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy is a brave thing to do and I will provide a safe space to help you heal and grow. In our sessions, I will provide empathy, active listening and humor to help you overcome what is troubling you. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
I’ve experienced my own struggles with self-esteem, mental health, & relationship issues. These experiences have shaped me into a therapist who is empathetic, practical, & down-to-earth. I know the path to self-improvement & rebuilding your relationships can be challenging. Let's create those meaningful changes and new memories together.

Many of the students I work best with share a common thread: they feel overwhelmed by the transition of college life and want a safe place to sort through it all. Some are managing anxiety, stress, or burnout from balancing classes, work, and relationships. Others are navigating questions of identity, independence, or self-confidence. What they all have in common is a desire for a supportive space where they can be honest about what’s hard and learn tools to feel more grounded. My approach is down-to-earth and collaborative, so if you’re looking for someone who understands the challenges of student life and wants to walk with you through them, you might find a good fit here.
