“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” -Viktor Frankl Hello! I'm Kaylie (she/they). As a queer clinician, I am dedicated to providing a safe and affirming space for identity exploration, navigating coming out, and validating your queer experiences. Supporting the LGBT+ community is a central motivation for my career as a therapist. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, and I focus on supporting neurodiverse populations, including those with autism and ADHD. My goal is to help clients develop skills to navigate their environments and offer a supportive space to address the challenges they face in a world that may not always accommodate their needs. I believe that the therapeutic alliance is the cornerstone of effective therapy. Building trust and rapport is essential, and I strive to make this process both approachable and relevant to your everyday life. Recognizing that therapy can sometimes feel intimidating, I am committed to creating an environment where you feel comfortable and understood. My approach ensures that our sessions are engaging and that therapeutic concepts are seamlessly integrated into real-world applications. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), focusing on skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Additionally, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), existentialism, and feminist therapy into my practice. My experience spans individual, group, and family settings, and I am trained in trauma-informed care, approaching my work from a person-centered perspective. Whether you're exploring your identity, trying to build a strong sense of self, navigating anxiety and depression, or seeking support regarding neurodiversity, I am here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to provide a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and empowered. Together, we can address life's challenges, develop effective coping strategies, and celebrate your unique journey. Areas of Focus: LGBTQIA+, DBT, CBT, Neurodiversity, Identity Exploration Accepting Aetna & Cigna Insurances Offering In-Person (Society Hill) & Virtual Appointments

I offer an informal approach to therapy where you can be totally free to be who you are. I have a lot of experience in working with clients with depression, anxiety and neurodiversity (ADHD/Autism). I also would be a good fit for anyone experiencing grief and loss—either through a death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or life just hasn’t turned out the way you expected. I also understand that college can be a really tough transition and a crazy stressful time in life. I’ve been there and I would love to help you through it. Additionally, I am part of a first responder family and love to work with clients who are first responders (or love one) as I have personal and professional training and experience in this area.

I myself am a first generation Jewish American woman. I have experienced some discrimination because of my religious-ethnic heritage and have the experience of being "other." This experience has enabled me to connect with people who experience "other-ness." I think most of us humans experience some form of trauma growing up, whether from hurts experienced in the family or in the larger society. Being able to talk about those hurts enables personal integration and healing. That is what my work as a therapist is about. One of the things I am aware of, for students and many others at this time in history, is the feeling of social isolation. I am offering a group for young adults to experience connected-ness. Look at my website for further information. I look forward to hearing from you.

It's not your fault. College is demanding & society rewards overworking. It can feel impossible to slow down & practice self-care when you're overwhelmed & nothing you do feels like it's enough. You deserve better. Let's work together to help you heal, unlearn society's b.s. rules, re-calibrate your nervous system so you can step into your power to create and enjoy your life!

Hello students! I know what it’s like to be you. I received both my undergraduate degree in Sociology and Master of Social Work degree from WCU. I enjoy helping people of all ages, particularly young adults, who want to address parts of themselves that are limiting their full potential. You know something doesn’t feel right but you aren’t quite sure; or maybe you know what’s wrong and want to make change but are afraid of what that might look like. I provide a safe, comfortable, and empowering space for those willing to explore.

Immediate availability! I am a licensed psychologist who works with adults 18+ and couples, particularly around navigating stress and anxiety, insomnia, building self-confidence, navigating life transitions, and relationships. My goal is to create a space where you can feel comfortable discussing challenging experiences and relationships, build resilience and coping skills, and develop your own individual identity. I hope to make this a collaborative experience in which we can engage in problem solving and exploration around all aspects of personal and professional development, while also sharing in some laughter. I help adults and couples get unstuck, navigate challenges more effectively, and build healthier, more connected relationships and lives. I also provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), the first-line treatment for chronic insomnia. My style is warm and conversational, but also active and direct. With couples, I use Relational Life Therapy to interrupt and change patterns driving conflict or disconnection and strengthen connection. WARNING: HIGHLY INTERACTIVE THERAPIST! I work with clients 13+ from a wide range of genders and backgrounds. Most of my clients are dealing with some combination of anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or questions about sexuality and gender. Many are coming out of their first big break up or first major loss. I have a particular focus in “men’s” issues, relationships and couples work, and on addressing topics we were never taught to explore — namely sexuality and grief. Some of my clients are deeply religious others are atheists. Some have never dated others are active BDSMers. My style is highly interactive. We’ll work to address faulty beliefs and longstanding BS. Together, we can talk about anything from anxiety to compulsive porn use, from kink to grief. I have a particular focus in “men’s” issues, couples counseling, and grief. I won’t promise you’ll “find happiness.” That would be like trying to sell you keys to your own car. All I promise is to be your teammate. If what you seek is a combination of empathy and strength, a nonjudgmental space, an emphasis on connection over analysis, and a confidant who will not waver then I invite you to book a consultation below.

Becoming a clinical psychologist grew out of my lifelong wish to help people lessen the emotional and psychological pain that any of us can be susceptible to. I provide a place where people can feel listened to and understood. Feeling heard by someone else can often be the first step to better understanding one’s own feelings and others. Once I understand your issues, I utilize psychological treatments that incorporate the latest findings from cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, neuroscience, and modern psychoanalysis. These treatments are now helping more people find effective ways to meet their emotional needs and have fulfilling and enjoyable lives and relationships. If you are interested in learning more about ways that psychological treatment can reduce your emotional distress and help you to have the life you want to live, please do not hesitate to contact me to arrange for an initial consultation.

College brings many transitions that can be difficult to navigate, especially without the opportunity to reflect on the many changes and challenges you may be experiencing. My intention is to provide a safe space to explore your life as a student, and beyond. With nearly two decades of clinical experience, I offer compassionate and supportive therapy that openly explores thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Let’s be real. Life is hard. It is messy and crazy and sometimes, it just feels out of control. Your space is a mess, your roommates are on your last nerve, you have a major assignment to work on, and you just cannot get a moment to think straight. Then there’s that thought in the background that you’re not doing enough, that you’re not enough. You’re questioning yourself and feeling overwhelmed. College is hard. This phase of life is hard. Feeling the pressure to succeed can feel unbearable. This is where therapy comes in. To learn how to address these thoughts & emotions in a safe space and develop a plan of action to move forward, feeling confident in yourself.

Therapy is an opportunity to alleviate emotional pain and also a safe space to reflect and grow. When seeking therapy, many people might be unsure of what they want and afraid of the uncertainty. My hope is to help you walk through a healthy perspective to replenish a meaningful and rewarding life where you could see yourself more completely and inspire yourself to be the calm within the storm. With a compassionate, non-judgmental, and psychologically mindful space, I hope you will feel deeply understood and optimistic. I work from a genuine, authentic and collaboratively open style. My work is tailored to each client’s needs and presenting problems. During our sessions, we may focus on discovering new coping strategies to manage problems, widening your perspective, providing tools to overcome stressors, facilitate insight as well as promoting self-care and resiliency. Having an international background, I value diversity and I am deeply attuned to your unique social and cultural identity and its effect on your individuality, sense of purpose and meaning in life. Currently, I am a full-time Staff Psychologist at the University of Pennsylvania, Counseling and Psychological Services. Check my WEBSITE for more information!

Hi! My name is Josh Foster, I have over 20 years experience in working with college students, helping them through many of the most difficult emotional barriers and roadblocks that we face. I love working with college students! A lot of the work that I do with people centers around trauma that they have experienced. As someone who has been diagnosed with PTSD as a result of trauma suffered by churches and religious people and systems, I have great empathy and understanding for people dealing with trauma. Here's some of how I approach the work I do with people: I’ll get to know you through asking questions. No one story can encapsulate all of who you are, so I’ll listen and show curiosity about you and your life. I will speak hope to you. I believe that hope is essential to keep moving forward as a human being. I also understand how hard it can be to hold onto. We’ll look for repeated themes, ideas, and connections in your stories so that we can find the problem(s) and discover the tactics and strategies that the problems are using to stay in power. We will work to separate you from the problem(s). I honestly believe that you are not the problem but that whatever problem you are struggling with (anxiety, depression, anger) is the problem. We will discover who you aspire to be and develop tools and strategies that can help you to live for longer stretches of time as the best version of yourself. We’ll work to develop tools that you can utilize in between our sessions, and truths for you to hold on to, so that you can have more hope. I’ll help you learn to pay attention to the ways that your body is trying to communicate to you. I find that the people who make the most progress usually do some reflection between sessions.
